What a fun day! You sure showed his girlfriend a great deal. I love the areas you visited, my DD go into the City many times a year. Last one we did the Bean too. Next time you two go exploring go further on down from Millennium Park. You went to the smaller Disney Store. The one more towards Water Tower Place is massive in comparison to the one you visited and the entire store is elaborately themed. She'd like that one too. It is on the Mag MIle / Michigan.

I love pluto looking down on the queue

Actually the original plan was to head toward Water Tower Place after we went to see the tree in Millennium Park. However, after spending loads of time in Daley Plaza, and Macy's and the Disney Store on State Street, we decided to save a trip to Water Tower Place for another day. It would have been more walking than I could have handled anyway. Not as spry as I used to be in my younger days, when I would start at the Mag Mile, and finish up at State Street. Of course, most of those trips didn't include carrying lots of packages.

And we are happy to have you too. :inlove:

I'm also enjoying your company on this thread---you're most welcome here! :)
Thank you!:inlove::happy::)

I wish I could say I have great weekend plans but I don't. I will have to go into work at least a few hours both days but not sure when so can't make any plans. I am hoping to sleep in a bit.

It snowed over night and on my way to work I walked passed these trees.

It was a lovely start to my day.

I never had a girl scout cookie experience in my whole life.

Are they really tasty?
Some of them are. It depends on what you like. Like...I LOVE thin mints, but my husband won't touch them because he's not a fan of chocolate and mint together. I also LOVE tagalongs, which he also won't touch because he doesn't like Peanut Butter and chocolate...he actually doesn't really like anything in his chocolate...he'll make an exception for caramel, but he won't eat snickers. So he's not really a fan of girl scout cookies, which works just fine for me, because I don't have to share!!

Snickers are not as good as Marathons ;)

I beleive they may well be illegal in rhe USA.
I don't think they are so much illegal in the US as it is that it's illegal to SEND/CARRY them to the US, and since they are not made in the US, that makes it hard to get them. My understanding is that because there is something inside that can't be seen, it makes it a safety issue...people would use them to smuggle things into the country. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding of it.

That's the cats. You open the pantry, which just so happens to be where their treats are, and suddenly they're right at your feet.

Or anytime they hear you have something that crinkles, it MUST be for them. But for some reason they turn their noses up at lettuce...:D
Or when you open a can of tuna as silently you can.. they still somehow teleport next to you from the other side of the house :P

Mmhmm. Especially since it makes the exact same sound as their canned food opening.

Although we do let them lick the cans of tuna when we're finished.

Have I mentioned before that my cats are very spoiled?
