I used to be a huge Cubs fan. However, as the Cubs haven't won anything big like a World Series in over 100 years, I stopped caring. Now they are winning, and changing the ballpark, and I could care less. I rode past there today, on my way to the foot doctor. It would be kind of comical if the World Series made it there this year. The neighborhood is a mess with all of the construction walls. Reminded me of my visits to the Disney parks, when they were under construction. "Parden My Dust" signs were everywhere.
and that was the weekend we had gone to the shelter.
We took him for a short walk and watched him play with some toys on the floor--running around like a lunatic in his own world. I asked the shelter guy if Jack often acted crazy, and the guy said yes , , , a little bit . . . at times . . .
Seven years later, he's still living here with us in the asylum--one big, happy family!
