It is very sweet and the Kernels are tiny and tender. It doesn't have much starch so it just needs to be blanched versed cooked. It comes from a family farm now in its 4th generation operating the farm. They pick it one day and it is loaded and sold at Farmers Markets by their own people the next day. If you drive up to Harvard-it is picked that day. When it is gone it is gone, they don't resell other people's crops.
I order it and send it to my Sis, there in 2 days from ordering. They only ship 2x a week.
We have Olathe sweet corn out here. I went to the store early this morning, and it was sold out. :(

Ah, yes. I was young, and in love with the boy. Age old story. And so far, working out pretty good.

My family moved around a lot growing up, thanks to my Dad's job in sales, so I have lived in every region except South. The way DH talks, that might change in our retirement years. Started off in Jersey (hi, @figmentfan423 ), moved to California--15 minute drive to DL. Learned how to mini golf right across the street. Back to Jersey (hello, again, Figgy!). Then off to Michigan for a few (I mean 2) years, than on to Wisconsin (hi, @ajrwdwgirl. Hope you are having a great day!) And then, after college, he got a job here first, so per our agreement, I moved here. So, I have had a taste of life in a few places.

And speaking of taste--the peaches I get from R and B Farms at the market are just juice down your chin good! The only ones I have bought from an actual store that I like are the fancy packed ones at Trader Joe's. And you have to get those right away, because they sell out fast.
Everything good, sells out fast, I just missed out on really good corn!

I wish that we could have done more character meals on our vacation, but the prices are just through the roof. So except for two character/special/birthday meals, we are just winging it the rest of the time. Gives me/us a chance to eat at some Quick Service places that I have not done before. Also, maybe I will finally get over to AOA, and eat in their food court. This will be my 4th time staying at Pop. The 1st time AOA wasn't there, but the last two times, I visited AOA, but I did not eat there. I want to do that on this trip. Our trip is not overplayed, so we should have a lot of opportunities to do that.
It sounds like you do Disney, the same as us. We go without the kids and grandkids, for one week a year. We never have many plans. I like to walk around the different hotels, or world showcase. That's fun day for us.

Lunch was not worth mentioning, but last night's dinner was pretty yummy. DD and her friend had a horse riding lesson, and DH took us all to dinner along the way. He had a Groupon to use up. I wasn't sure what to expect, because, well, new place trying to do BBQ. I figured I better order nachos, because the last time I ordered brisket at a BBQ place, it was almost entirely fat. I figured if that happened, at least I have nachos. But, oh my it was good!
