Yes, it's Neuschwanstein. We didn't go in this time since we did it last time and it takes quite a bit of time, not to mention an hour long hike up a steep mountain road... So we're doing other stuff this time.

It's Versailles on a smaller scale. King Ludwig II idolized Louis XIV. He basically had Versailles copied at Herrenchiemsee, and Linderhof is a smaller version of it.

Herrenchiemsee is on an island and not accessible by car. You have to park on the mainland and take a ferry.


Our hotel looks so nice on the outside. Inside is not as nice.

Good dinner, but they seemed understaffed. It took 35 minutes from ordering my dessert to it being served. And I forgot to take a picture of it because we were in a hurry by that point. Steak with her bed butternand fries, and schnitzel.
