Hoping they both got enough sleep last night. I realize your son's accident takes an emotional toll on the entire family, so best wishes to all.

It will be great when they discharge him today to go home. Even though he'll have a recovery ahead of him, just being home in familiar surroundings with family, will help all around. Plus, he's still young enough to heal in due course, from his ankle injuries.

Thanks, Minnie…!!! :)
They both slept pretty good at the hospital last night.
Yea, it’s gonna’ be an interesting recovery for him. He’s now gettin’ antsy and wants to get up and move around all the time (he’s using a walker, for now) when he needs to just chill for a few more days.
Carolyn and I both get it, as I’ve posted about splitting my left calcaneus wide open on a diving board when I was 13. And, Carolyn was about the same age when she jumped from the low end of her grandparents barn roof into a cotton wagon and over shot far enough to break her right leg on a side rail…she still has metal in there.
And yes, he and Belle and Ranger were so glad to see each other when he got home today…!!! :)
And also yes, his recovery should be fairly quick, at his age, we’re hoping…!!! :)
