Yikes! Thanks for the heads up! I've been buying the Nature's Promise spring/baby spinach mix lately, but it's not on the list. WHEW!

What are the first signs of Listeria?


Higher-risk people other than pregnant women: Symptoms can include fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions.

Just for the sake of information... all but two of those are also symptoms of old age (the ones in red). The recall for Kale probably is just bunched in there until they can determine if it really is a food item!

Matthew is out of surgery. It went well. Plates and screws on the inside, but, none on the outside, so no secondary surgery.
If the pain can be managed, they’ll send him home later today. If not, he won’t come home ‘til tomorrow.

Good to know he had a good surgery. Man what a scare!

Shattering that bad to need plates and screws.. yeah.. thats one big fear of mine. Since some of my bones are pretty much glass.

Love this! Aside of the neat old vehicles, what caught my attention was the sound of some of the old car horns -- different tones and fun to hear!! (Reminded me a little bit of the old locomotive trains here in the U.S. -- some of the whistle sounds were very unique.)
