I have been waiting over three years

Round 1 of shoveling is done. Impossible to tell how much. Deep in spots, to the ground in others becuase of the wind but at least I got a few inches of until the heavy stuff comes.

Must have started a lot earlier down in RI. We're still just under 4-ish at this point. (Lots more to come, of course! )

Oh, I bought a new shovel the other day -- lighter than the one we've used for years. New one is bright yellow in color -- coordinates nicely with our bright red shovel.

Just about 3 here, the wind is started to pick up but as usual the weather folk are wrong. Yesterday they had us between 1 and 6

It's not over yet -- not even down in your area. (Up here, it's not just the expected 2 feet by midnight), but more of an issue with the high gale winds. I don't live on the coastline, but even inland, we could get some higher gusts.)
