Lancaster isn't exactly close. It's well outside the area where we have laws
Thank you and the like is for dodging the bullet. The groundhog may not be so luckyStay warm and safe everyone!! We dodged a bullet here. My sister lives about an hour north of us and had 6 inches at 9 this morning.

Ours (NJ) is winding down as well. Here is the view from my living room bay windows...We're supposedly at the "peak" of the snow and wind right now...we have about 6-8" and the gusts aren't too horrible.
And power just came back on! YAY!!!
Oh...and we're right in the area south of Boston and on the coast that's supposed to get the worst of everything.
If the reporting is accurate, we should start winding down a little bit after dinner time. Hopefully the gusts stay low, like they have been.Ours (NJ) is winding down as well. Here is the view from my living room bay windows...View attachment 617485
I think Dominos and Pizza Hut are are running joke in NYC/NJ compared to real pizza. CiCis would not even venture to open in those areas.Nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd be happy if it never got colder than that.
Yupper! Snow amounts vary all over the state. I've been out a few times today (to clear snow from the heating vent on side of building) and to just shovel front steps once. (Of course, everything I shoveled before noon, has filled in quickly, as the storm is absolutely raging in my area.)
That's a shock to Orlando locals but one summer when we had a family vacation and toured the CA Bay Area including San Francisco back in the day we had to bring and wear winter wear in July. Those winds off the bay were intense and our shins hurt from literally walking some of the streets of SF that seemed like almost vertical . One thing we noticed is that the million dollar Victorian homes didnt even have AC and we never turned on our AC in our hotel room during our visit.
