Gotta say, the POP room updates were really well done!
Mr. Ferret needs to drop his platform shoes.. we're not in the 60's anymore. She's not short you're freakishly tall!

The prices of the hotels have gone up a lot. They also need to consider what park they will visit the most. We hated the bus system at AoA. We used it once. We waited over 45 minutes for a bus from MK to go back to the resort. Meanwhile multiple buses from other resorts kept showing up. It was not a fun wait with 4 kids and a husband. If they go to MK the most, I would push for WL.I logged on yesterday and checked the prices for their dates. I was shocked. I didn’t realize the family suites were priced the way they are. I’m trying to convince them to switch to a MK resort, but it sounds like everyone is liking the idea of extra space in the rooms, and the gondolas.
I was trying to read reviews yesterday to show them that it’s too much walking, but surprisingly I didn’t find negative ones during my quick search. I did remind them that there is no pool slide, and there is not a full service restaurant, and that it’s a huge resort and will be crowded. A coworker of my sister’s is the one who recommended it to her. I’m going to continue to advocate for a change.
Good points. It is a great resort. A asks about it all the time and when we get to go back to it. We really loved it.
And honestly, if he has a hard time walking, he's up the creek without a paddle anyway if he doesn't get an EVC. Disney is huge. The parks are huge. The bus stops are far away from the front of the parks. Even with the best touring plan he'll be walking much more than he needs to be every day. That's going to catch up to him quickly.
So I don't know that the resort is necessarily the problem, but rather,... he needs to at least have it in his mind that EVC can be a thing for when he's done being stubborn and in pain.
I bet that DID brighten your dayIt's rainy, dark and dreary, so I paid off the upcoming trip to WDW!
Wow! Thanks for sharing all those great photos!Fun morning for us. We lined up early for Hagrid again. Got in line at 7:45 for a park opening at 9. They opened the gates at 8:50. Still an incredible ride. After that we rode Buckbeak and then walked around. No real plans so if we saw an attraction we went on it as long as the wait wasn’t more than 15 minutes. The Seuss area is very cute. We went to Margaritaville for lunch and it was as good as the last time. One of my girls made a palm tree with the wikistix, and youngest made a sailboat. I had a corn and black bean taco. Really good. My oldest had jambalaya. Dh had the beyond Burger. Seems like restaurants are now opting for Beyond or Impossible burgers instead of a whole food type burger. A little disappointing. My younger 2 love the Volcano song, so sang it when it played. We then went to the Studios park because the younger 2 wanted to go in the Hello Kitty store. The same Team Member who helped us in May helped us again today so we chatted a bit. We came back to the hotel because it was supposed to rain. Well it didn’t so I am now sitting in the room catching up. Tomorrow we head to Clearwater for a beach day.
