Wow! You even make your own yogurt? My favorite flavors are blueberry and strawberry. :hungry: (I usually buy Siggi's.)

My younger 2 love the Volcano song, so sang it when it played. We then went to the Studios park because the younger 2 wanted to go in the Hello Kitty store. The same Team Member who helped us in May helped us again today so we chatted a bit. We came back to the hotel because it was supposed to rain. Well it didn’t so I am now sitting in the room catching up. Tomorrow we head to Clearwater for a beach day.

I love the sign in the window "Please don't touch this car". I'm trying to remember the last time I went around feeling up anybody's car. Can't remember it ever happening. I know it is a classic, but I still would have no reason to grope it. I would have loved to add another sign that says, if you don't want it touched the best bet is to not leave it out in public. Was that some type of classic car display?

They have a bunch of these classic cars on one side of the entrance area of the hotel. I took a picture of the wagon because it had “antique” luggage. I think that aside from the modern conveniences you are supposed to feel like you are in the late 50’s early 60’s? All the music played in the hotel(not pool area) is early 60’s.

That explains it then. It is part of the theme. I didn't know that. Carry on, but I still have no desire to manhandle it. ;)

When I looked at the 10-day forecast yesterday it showed we’d be in the upper ‘90’s with triple digit heat indices for that timeframe up here. Not sure about Houston.
It was as predicted earlier, but, this was the weather when I left the office an hour late because of a morning deadline...

I noticed that too, which is disappointing because meat alternatives aren't really my jam. Would definitely prefer a good black bean burger

I was trying to read reviews yesterday to show them that it’s too much walking, but surprisingly I didn’t find negative ones during my quick search. I did remind them that there is no pool slide, and there is not a full service restaurant, and that it’s a huge resort and will be crowded. A coworker of my sister’s is the one who recommended it to her. I’m going to continue to advocate for a change.

Yep, it’s way into moderate range pricing now, and pretty much has been since about the time all sections became open.
As I posted, we enjoyed our stay there very much, especially with my 60% CM discount, but, we’re not payin’ moderate+ prices for a value-themed resort.
We’d rather stay at POR...!!! :)

Do you know if they still run, they drive them around to keep them in good running condition from time to time, etc., or are they just props...the “Please Do Not Touch This Car” sign seems to indicate they may be owned by others, and are possibly rotated from time to time...? :)

Yep, if the A/C is blowin’ warm, and you’re steppin’ in puddles when you get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, I’ll take an old room with the A/C that works properly...!!! ;)

But, oh my, on closer inspection, I just noticed that asymmetrical pumpkin’ (even though it seems to be at the mirrored angle of the table cloth...?!!!!! :cyclops::D:hilarious:;):)). I feel a panic attack comin’ on....... *breathe* *breathe* *breathe*...!!!!! :hilarious:;)
