We survived grocery shopping. YEA, I think:hilarious: Seeing we're having a BBQ this weekend it's a miracle because we got the regular shopping and party shopping done. At least 30 pounds of meat for the bbq alone, not to mention the bushel of broccoli, one of potatoes, one of peppers, 15 pounds of tomatoes, 24 heads of lettuce, 15 or 20 cucumbers, 10 pounds of onions...…………………………………………... Please somebody, anybody swap food bills with me

Please try and talk them into staying someplace else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We spent part of a resort hopping day there and it's A LOT OF WALKING to get anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food court was great with lots of choices but it was also VERY LOUD and it was way less than half full when we went. I'd say it's a good choice for more mobile folks with kids. Good luck
Seconding this.
AKL is a very LONG resort and it involves quiet a bit of walk just to leave the room towers.
Plus unless you're lucky to score a close to the lobby area. You will walk a lot, then walk a bit more to the bus stop.

I think the walk is akin from walking from Port Orleans Riverside farthest rooms towards the lobby and then to the bus stop.

No
@StarWarsGirl : did you check the new trailer of Star Wars? Darth R... really?
My bet.. she is a force illusion similar to Luke's during his training.
Not yet. I read about it a bit, but since this one is the last one, I really want to go in and take it all in and really enjoy it without a lot of speculation beforehand.

I just finished ordering groceries via instacart from Aldi... my bill was about $60... so I think I'll keep my own food bill!

ETA: I rarely if ever order my groceries to be delivered, but it's rainy, and I'm feeling very lazy!

Ouch.
Speaking of double fee.
Is Norwegian the only one who offers SOLO rooms?

I don’t think so.. I’m fairly certain that most cruise lines offer a solo travel rate.. it might be a few hundred off of the double occupancy rate.

Norwegian charges double occupancy regardless of age as well if not solo. T was full fare on our cruise. I’ve just gotten used to it over the years.. although I do cringe a bit more at all inclusive resorts when alcohol is included but obviously my kid isn’t drinking.

Disney APs are like this as well. T had one at 5 or 6 years old, it was same price as mine.

I miss the original SoTB billboards. They even published a book with all of them. Seemed like one every two miles headed north and heading south for a hundred miles and even a couple before then. It was a less politically correct world back then and so many of those signs were absolutely hilarious. I'm afraid the SoTB is rightfully dying on the vine. Not much to draw anyone there more then once. When the restroom charged money to use a stall it fell out of my happy place picture. Especially since if you went about two miles past heading south you got to the SC Visitors station and two miles north was the NC Visitors station. I used to stop on the way through because they had a good price on a big bag of raw peanuts in the shell. I'd buy a bag and then when I got home I roasted them in the oven and munched on them for months. Then my body aged and decided to transfer peanuts into body fat, so I stopped getting them.

200? wow.
How long has it been since it was unveiled to the public? a month?
It opened in June. Had to have been at least 500 by the time we were let in. We never waited though in the queue. It kept moving so maybe a total of 10 minutes from the time we got to the line up area. We actually had zero wait on any of the rides we went on today. The wait was walking in the queue. Cannot complain. We left at 11:00 am to go back to the hotel. Didn’t wait for a bus either. Ate lunch in the hotel and then went to Volcano Bay.
