I was still 18 when MTV launched on Aug. 1, 1981. It was all the rage and pretty cool for a coupla’ years, then I just got bored with it.
Does anyone remember the first video ever played on MTV...?!

You looked cute. Not as bad as Richard Marx’s mullet.80’s hair helmet. Dancing with mom at Aunt Lenore’s wedding. Mom is 5’2” (I’m now almost 5’10.) Mom called it Rick Springfield hair and encouraged it lol. #mullet

Although, probably pretty well fed, that doesn't look like an out of proportion animal. Just a crossed or mutant gene that produced a large cat. A throw back to the animal from which they came down from genetically. His legs are about the same size as that ladies arms. Not fat, just large structured.Poor kitty. How the heck did he get that chunky? Hope with all the publicity he gets a home soon.
Congrats on your score, and that is a really great drawing Brad! I am impressed.A few pictures of our day today, tomorrow is Expo.

My ds agrees with you. I will wait to pass judgement when I see it next in a couple of years.Epcot as we know it has died. RIP. Long live Magic Kingdom 2.
Good point. As I looked at the picture again, he did look like a pretty big animal. Maybe a mountain lion crossed with a housecat.Although, probably pretty well fed, that doesn't look like an out of proportion animal. Just a crossed or mutant gene that produced a large cat. It feels so good. So nice not to have that weighing on my mind anymore.
It’s $170 per semester, but $500 if you sign up/pay for the year at once.
Spanish, French, or German.
It’s optional, was not optional when part of school day curriculum- and only Spanish was offered with that, until 7th grade when they had a choice of French or Spanish. Regardless, it’s a blindside that we should have been made aware of PRIOR to the first day of school. It’s been part of the curriculum since kindergarten.
