We had a great time at the shelter. We took some kittens and a 2 year old cat into a bonding room. The older cats owner died and she’s been at the shelter since February. We could only stay an hour, but will go back another day to give attention to some more.View attachment 397959View attachment 397960View attachment 397961View attachment 397962View attachment 397963View attachment 397964View attachment 397965View attachment 397966View attachment 397967View attachment 397968

You’re welcome. Our shelter welcomes anyone who wants to volunteer 18 and older, or with parental supervision let kids come and spend time with the cats. You should see if yours does the same.
The shelter where we got Belle has a cat room; they don't keep the cats in cages unless they take them to PetSmart or they're sick. I've gone in there to visit with the cats before. Right before my surgery I needed a kitten fix and I went, and there were a bunch of really young kittens. It was great.

It is so satisfying to be with them.
