Sounds lovely. We used to get to Longwood Gardens a couple of times a year when we lived closer. Now a 3 hour drive is too much, plus with the dogs that would mean finding someone to care for them.
It'll be 2 hrs 15 minutes for us to travel there.....but compared to driving from NJ to Orlando...hey that's nothing ;)
Additionally, we don't have any pets.
Anyway, hope you have a great Christmas :)

I think it is muscle related. I wasn’t overdoing it at the time, I just was standing up from sitting. I haven’t used the muscle relaxer yet. I didn’t want to take it when brad wasn’t home in case something happened to him and I needed to drive, I like to be alert for that. By the time his got home it was close to bed and he didn’t want me to take it because it is old and he feared some sort of reaction while I was sleeping. So maybe today, this afternoon perhaps. It is just frustrating.
Perhaps you should see a doctor and get your own prescription that isn't old. Doctors can give you better stuff than advil, and then you wouldn't have to worry about a reaction because it's old.

Happy Sunday! Happy Vacation! Went Grocery shopping Friday night to avoid the crowds yesterday and today. Went to my cousins annual party yesterday and had a great time. They themed it nostalgia this year, and everyone brought pictures from Christmas past and brought there favorite food my step grandma use to make. I channeled my real grandma though… and made Sausage balls.. however I did a pinterest twist (using red lobster biscuit mix instead of bisquick) and they turned into sausage cookies… They tasted amazing though…so who cares the shape, right? LOL

This morning I’ve worked on getting some old junk out of my room….. starting laundry… dunno what we are going to do today … maybe go see Mary Poppins Returns?
We did that today!! Cute movie. Not as good as the original, but it was fun!

I found a video on Longwood Gardens at Christmas time. That night we will stay at a Hampton Inn in Lancaster PA and then the next day we'll enjoy a nice lunch at Miller's Smorgasbord. That's it for plans. How about all of you guys? Anyone doing a multiple day getaway?

Oh my, that's gorgeous! What a nice Christmas week activity for you and you wife. Also, happy to hear that she is feeling better every day. That's the nicest Christmas present of all ! :)

Yikes I agree with the above it may have been easier and cheap to start from scratch. {{HUGS}} all around

Probably it would have, but from what he shared, I don't think they knew what was coming. In hindsight, I guess we could all make different choices, but most of us don't have that luxury. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for them, that something good comes out of all this in the new year.

Thanks. I have the heating pad on it and took some Advil. Hubs found me some of his old over the counter back pills I may try that next. The heat does make it feel better.

There should be a date on the pill container. Some pills are fine for quite a while after expiration, but it's on a case by case basis. Other pills turn toxic. If you have the name of the medicine, just look it up on a medical web site (there's plenty of them), and see what the safety window is on them. And if you have even the slightest doubt whatsoever, discard them.

I LOVE these cookies. I was always really excited when someone would bring them to the parties at school, because my mom wouldn't make them. They were one of my favorites.
Our tradition of making them for Christmas started back before James was born when Chocolate World had a promotion on kisses. If you bought X number of bags of kisses you got a little cooking with Hershey baking cook book for free.
