I love Ohana. It has good days and bad days. I went a couple times in a row and it was great, then I went and it was terrible. I said I would skip it the next time but hubby wanted to go and we did, and it was great again. I went probably about 5 more times and this last time while it wasn't terrible it was a little disappointing. I didn't go this time on my solo trip but we will give it another go the next time hubby and I go. If it is disappointing again then maybe I won't love it so much.
the more I read, the more they seem to be a hit and miss.
I suppose because they are always packed?

While my food was delicious, I was not amused by the fact that most meat served was way undercooked.
The chicken and the wings in the other hand... were delicious.

Yes there is a following and I love any soda with sugar cane over corn syrup. Still the overwhelming majority of Coke sold in US is corn syrup. Now back a couple years ago Mexico switched to corn syrup for distribution within Mexico.
Coke that was exported from Mexico into the US still had sugar cane though. If that is still the practice over the last year...don't know.
Hu, I have never heard of them switching to Syrup.
Maybe it was for export only?
Mexicans take their coke very seriously.

A lot of cokes have failed when they tried to insert their weird "new" flavours, just saying..

We've been 3 times and have really enjoyed it every time. However, the last time was in June of '13, and there have been some changes since. Still, even then, I don't think I've seen anybody post that it's now bad.
We'll go back again to see for ourselves on our next trip.
Whenever that'll be...
They just released some specials for summer and fall I believe. Kingdom Konsultants on this forum mentioned something. Just fyi

I'm also old enough to remember when Sears was an amazing department store. My favorite part of the store was where they sold candy as far as my little self could see and above my head. They also roasted fresh nuts and popped popcorn and made cheese and caramel corn all day. The smells just lured you there. We always came home with stuff from that massive counter.

I live near Minneapolis and the big department store downtown, used to be Dayton's then Marshall Field's and now Macy's, used to have a unique Christmas display. There was a huge walk through display of a fairytale or story on one of the top floors and it was different every year. When it was bought out by Macy's they kept the display but now have the same one every year. It just gets boring and it seems like the crowd lessens every year. I liked having a unique experience every year.

The one tradition Macy's kept was the Walnut Rooms Christmas Tree and it is different each year.

The elaborate windows down State Street are goners. I miss that. We'd go down at night and look at all the high scale store windows during shopping season. Marshal Fields use to have an fantastic Santa room too a cottage area built in the store for kids to explore while waiting to see Santa.

I stopped watching when Jordan retired. :(
That's interesting you would say that because last night me and a friend at work were talking about that time being the golden time of basketball. Not just because of Jordan but there seemed to be a lot of great forward/point guard duos like John Stockton and Karl Malone, Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton and of course Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. I haven't followed along as closely as I want to but I would sure love to see some real greatness in professional basketball again.
