Ones of these days I'm going to measure out everything and write a cookbook. In an large pot: 2 chopped onions, half head of garlic, coriander, cumin, sage, cardamom, small bit of fresh ginger, 1 avocado, about a gallon of broccoli stems, about a quart of chopped green squash, a couple of chopped carrots, cover with water, cook until mushy and then blend. Serve topped with seeds of your choice
Oooh, this sounds great! I would buy your cookbook. So just the stems and not florets?

This year at school I took over the Middle School Quiz Bowl team and we had our competition today. The competition is online and was done in my classroom, we won't know our ranking until the testing window ends on Friday but they did pretty well in my opinion. It was fun watching them get so excited about it. There were two Disney related questions. The first was about Mickey Mouse and what was his original name and the second was which room do Woody, Buzz & the gang live. When the Mickey Mouse question came up, all the kids turned an looked at me! I couldn't help them but I was DYING too! They did get it correct and the Toy Story one too, so maybe I am teaching them something....;)
Mortimer. 😁

It looks nice. I do know a little about craft items and Christmas Wreaths since my mom used to have a booth at a craft fair. One of the items my Mom used to sell was My Christmas wreaths, but it was the floral design style.

My mom does floral design as a hobby and only did one craft fair a year before this year. My mom used to be at a November holiday craft fair before Thanksgiving. The place she sold her stuff decided to not to have a craft fair this year. People wanted my mom to do my craft fairs a year, but refused. My mom only did one craft a fair a year due to her medical condition. She has fibromyalgia and it does affect her despite taking medication.

After my younger graduated in high school, my mom decided to take floral design classes at a technical college. That is how my mom got into floral design.

My senior year of high school I went to tech school half of the day to learn floral design. Although I enjoyed the class, I decided that wasn't what I wanted to do for a living!

Well, if they know you're from Mexico, I'd assume they would have taken the work permit requirement into consideration. Sounds like they really want to discuss the job with you.
yes, I gave them all my info just in case they missed it and told them I am willing to travel by next week to meet them if needed.
Going to be a huge expense but also an opportunity for me.

I didn't quote all your posts, but thanks for sharing these pictures. The museum looks very interesting, it is someplace we would be interested in visiting sometime. Looks like T had a good time too especially that one of him in the plane.

It really was interesting. Admission is free, which is unbelievable considering how much is there. We did do 4 simulators which cost extra, each one was worth the price. My favorite was a virtual reality space walk simulator..T’s favorites were the fighter plane simulators, where we spent most of our time doing barrel rolls or flying upside down.🤣 One of the 4 was a group seating, movie type experience, I probably wouldn’t repeat that one again.. but was ok to do once.

So officially finished bathroom except for a few finishing touches I may add later. I went with the gray walls because both my Dd and DH reminded me that we had peach walls when she was little. I had to go back through some old photos. I like the gray. It looks polished and modern. So here is a couple of pictures. We kept the vanity top because I am not paying $1,000 for one to match. 😉View attachment 326113

I love it!!! Especially the floor!!! Mine have been completed for a month now and I still am deciding about what to hang on the walls. 🤣
I bought 6 pictures, only keeping 2, but haven’t had time to decide which ones I want.

Well, youngest’s cake is done. I baked the layers. I will get to enjoy it because it is vegan and gluten free. The cake itself uses date and maple syrup as a sweetener. Just realized the cake itself has no added fat. Never made this recipe before so I hope it tastes good. The kids did the icing and much of the fondant.

Oh I have to show this to T, he will love it.

Great job! How did it taste? I’d love a nonfat cake recipe!

Thank you!😊Vanity top costs are unbelievable!
It really does look amazing!

That just stinks. Not nice business going on with that club.

I’m heartbroken for one of the players who is being moved down. The mom wants to fight it, with an attorney if necessary, even if it means leaving the club next season.

I don’t know how far she will take it, but I’ve scouring over the bylaws as well..I wish I had more of a way to help her. Her son did not deserve it. I think there was a lot of politics involved, and I think they thought his family wouldn’t push back. They’re so quiet and sweet.. 5 kids, 4 of which play club soccer for that club. I think that makes it all the more heartbreaking. She hasn’t told him yet. It’s just an ugly situation all the way around.. but from what I see, she has a case to fight it, at least demand to be heard by the board.

Oh! Come on I only have just over a month to go with the no clothes buy!;)

Box Lunch has some terriffic prices and sales for Disney Clothing and collectibles. Their rack rate is less than Disney Parks/Stores but still not cheap like Kohls or JCP but the quality is there and often better than the Parks/Stores official merchandise. But it is first their buy one get one 50% off that is the grab and I can always find more I love there.

The real bonus is their special coupons when you make a purchase. I used a gift card from one of my clients and received 3, $15 dollars off $30 spent. I had to purchase a $2 button pin to reach the level to use all 3 coupons. Walked out with 2 heavy weight Sweatshirts and a pin for just about $50. Since most sweatshirts in the parks are $45-50 each (or any other quality sweatshirt non Disney, I've paid more for collegiate wear) I'd say I did well.

Note these specials are also offered online and vary from week to week so if you are eyeing something just keep looking back. The beauty with this store is they also have a fabulous online section. Me, I don't care if it Spring, Summer or Fall version of new merchandise, I love me my Stitch, Donald and Mickey regardless which is the newest print.
