Oooh, this sounds great! I would buy your cookbook. So just the stems and not florets?Ones of these days I'm going to measure out everything and write a cookbook. In an large pot: 2 chopped onions, half head of garlic, coriander, cumin, sage, cardamom, small bit of fresh ginger, 1 avocado, about a gallon of broccoli stems, about a quart of chopped green squash, a couple of chopped carrots, cover with water, cook until mushy and then blend. Serve topped with seeds of your choice
