Do you have somewhere to go to be safe if it does hit your town?
Where I live is kinda safe.. the floods need to be catastrophic to reach my house (Surge does not reach) but I will be isolated.
Main highway is elevated by approximately 10 meters above sea level. Problem are landslides caused by rain (lots of mountains).

We have food, we have water..

When we used to visit Raleigh, we would stop in a mall on route 1 that was north of the city. It was huge and had a children’s play area. Is that still a “living” mall?
I don't honestly know... I only occasionally have reason to be up on Rte. 1 and it isn't to go to a mall. I'll try and remember to look the next time I go there. The big indoor one in Raleigh is located on Rte. 70 and is called the Crabtree Valley Mall.

I love the Crabtree Valley Mall! We sometimes go there whenever we visit our DD.
Yes, it is a very nice place. If you wanted to go to one that would kind of remind you of Disney it's just a fairly short ride to Durham and the mall called The Streets of Southpoint just off I-40. Very different, but, interesting. I met Mike and @JenniferS there a year or so ago.

Man it's been so long since I lived there, I don't remember which mall I've been to. I use to live right by Rex hospital in apts on Lake Boone Trail. Looking at a google map of the area now.. the street view looks very different.
