Krispy Creme opened up near Dublin the other day. Never had one so I don't see what the big fuss is.

It's human nature to try things out. I remembered when Sonic first opened near grocery store I go to. Sonic was busy, but now has been closed for 2 years due to lack of traffic despite the road being busy. I was not impressed with Sonic and a lot of people weren't either.

I think Crispy Creme is only popular in some areas. I know Crispy Creme is not as popular as they were around where the city I live. The city I live has great bakeries.

These donuts are ridiculous popular over here..
Since there is no official store in my town, they import them from the capital of this state.
And they make funraisings by selling them.
I here I live in the heart of Krispy Kremes and I think I have had about three in my lifetime. I don't like them. They are, admittedly, tasty, but, I hate messy food and the coating that they get of that sticky glazing turns me off. There aren't many stores around here even in N.C. where they were originally started. There are many more Dunkin Donuts around then K.K.'s. Here they deliver them in boxes pre-counted boxes to grocery stores. The problem is you don't really know exactly how long they have been sitting on the shelf. I don't care for them when they are fresh. I sure don't want any of them after they have hung around for a day or two.

They are best if you get them right at a KK store -- hot off the conveyor belt with melting glaze on top. :hungry: :hungry:

So I took dd to Joann's at around 3. Went to Walmart to pick up a few things since it is in the next shopping center. I get home at 4 and got a Joann's email. Flash sale from 4 pm. Extra 20% off everything! :banghead::banghead:

I don't go to Sonic's mostly because of the immensely irritating ads that run constantly and if it's not bad enough to see it once they run the same ad two times in a row. They are dumb, not funny and just plan annoying. I know they are playing to the lowest common denominator, but, seriously, who could be that low.

Take it all back, and then buy it at the discounted price! :p

Oh a completely unrelated matter, you'd be proud of me, because you like vitamins, etc. I was in Walgreens last week and they had a BOGO on their vitamins (actually all brands). So I bought a bottle of vitamin C, and got a free one, too. I took one the other day. Maybe I'll take more eventually--I just keep forgetting because I'm not used to taking a vitamin. :hilarious:

I've never been to Sonic or Krispy Kreme, I may have consumed enough Dunkin Donuts coffee to keep the entire east coast awake for a week:angelic:

Well I had a 50% off one item coupon that I used for a tracing wheel that she couldn't find at home, and the patterns were on sale for $1.99. We got 4. We got 3 yards of one fabric that was on sale, so I spent less than $25. I just would have bought her more fabric for one of the new patterns had I had the coupon earlier. Oh well, there will be more sales and coupons.
It does take a pattern change to remember to take vitamins. If you take tea or coffee when you get up, you can take it with that. Leave the bottle on the counter to remind yourself, and then when it becomes a habit, you can put it in a cabinet.

Sympathy like for just missing the flash sale. Does your Walmart have a fabric section most that do have a bargain area and prices go from $1 up to 2.50 a yard. It's very hit or miss they get in some real garbage and some stuff that I've seen elsewhere for over $20 a yard. Last week I saw a bolt that I saw earlier in the day at Joann for about 16 a yard and it was $2 at Walmart, I didn't like it at all so I left it there
