I have to head out again tomorrow for a few things which are cheaper by where I'm getting my hair cut. It's somebody's homecoming weekend so I was asked if I would mind getting my hair done tomorrow.

I don't go to Sonic's mostly because of the immensely irritating ads that run constantly and if it's not bad enough to see it once they run the same ad two times in a row. They are dumb, not funny and just plan annoying. I know they are playing to the lowest common denominator, but, seriously, who could be that low.
I don't know who they are playing to. The only time I went to Sonic was in 2010 or 2011 back when it first opened in area near grocery. Sonic commercials at the time was not as overkill on TV where I live now. They really have playing the same adds a lot for the last 2 or 3 years.

I've never been to Sonic or Krispy Kreme, I may have consumed enough Dunkin Donuts coffee to keep the entire east coast awake for a week:angelic:
I never went inside a Krispy Kreme, but I had their donuts before. Over a decade ago, a meeting served Krispy Kreme donuts. I have more donuts from local bakeries than Krispy Kreme. There is a bakery a couple blocks away from where I live.

This is one that I remember. They are downstairs and I don’t feel like going down anymore. Busy day. Cooked up a storm today, that would probably be only meal for your boys.

It was size 10 and up so she will have to adjust it for a smaller size.
That is cute! I just pulled up the reviews and a few said it runs a bit small compared to most other patterns and has only one inch of ease. hope that helps.

Got back from shopping about an hour ago. I had fun but I was shopped out around noon but we still had more stores to go to. I got a new winter jacket and I'm pretty jazzed about it. I was planning on getting one and I budgeted around $100-$150 for one, as I was planning to buy a Columbia brand one. But I found one I really liked for $48 (no sales tax because it was purchased in Minnesota) at a Marshall's type store!!! It is turquoise and very bright, but not Columbia. I might not have picked that color but the price was right. I just hope it holds up since it is not a brand I'm familiar with. But I haven't gotten a new heavy duty winter jacket in about 14 years.

And seating before the fight. There was a $10 per person cover for the fight tonight if you were still seated when the fight began, they also asked if you were staying put for the fight when you checked in with the host. I believe our server was over joyed that were planned to be out before the fight. (to put it bluntly I hate fighting as a sport, can't wrap my brain around it) But he'd be able to turn the table again so a win for him.

Me Fried Shrimp. 36 shrimp and sides $12. And a lovely heavy pour of Riesling.

Thank you!!! :)

Yesterday she mentioned feeling like she had been hit by a freight train early on, but, she has even impressed her doc and the hospital staff with how quickly she is bouncing back!
SonIL is a champ and they have always been each other’s rocks, so he has and will continue to take care of her, as she does him!!!!!
Of course, we will always do what we need to do to take care of her as warranted. We have always been non-intrusive/non-overbearing, but, also, very loving and caring parents, and will continue to be so. Pretty sure that's one of the reasons why we’re still such a close family...!!!!!
We were invited to the hospital to visit earlier this afternoon again, and drove all the way down there. We parked and were heading in when we got a phone call from our youngest DD (who has been helping them a lot) that oldest DD just had a bunch of friends who had just visited (and who DWifey and I ran into on their way out and chatted with for a bit) that kinda’ overstayed their welcome. Plus all of their other friends that have visited.
Oldest DD had quite the headache, and just wanted to rest for a while.
We turned right around and drove back home. No biggie. We were invited to come back to visit later this evening. If she still doesn’t feel well (of course we hope she does), we’ll visit when it’s a good time again.
Of, course, we wanna’ see our beautiful DG ASAP again, but, we also have Grandpatience...!!!!! :hilarious::happy:;)
Ugh....yeah, that's tough when people don't respect boundaries. I was fortunate with that and over here, we have a home nurse several hours a day for the first week, to teach us how to care for the baby....they help with nursing, bathing the baby, teach you how to change diapers, how to dress the baby, etc. And they take care of mama, too....the home nurse made me a fruit salad every day, did laundry, cleaned the bathtub, and checked my temp, etc. And they kind of field the visitors a bit to make sure you get enough rest. Sounds like your youngest was maybe playing that role a bit.
When my nephew was born, we weren't even called. I don't remember WHY now, but I had called a cousin for something...maybe he was going to help us with our flooring or something? Anyway, I called for something and he congratulated me, and I was like...."For what?" and he tells me I have a nephew. I was like....WHAT?? And he said "Yeah...he was born last night....didn't you know?" Um....no. So we called, and sure enough, we had a nephew. We asked if we could come visit, they said no, the mother was too tired. OK....so we waited. Called the next day....nope....the mother had a headache. Of course, all her friends and HER parents and brother had been by to visit, but we weren't allowed. So we waited. 3rd day, we called....nope, too many people already scheduled for that day, even though we had asked 2 days prior and they said they just couldn't schedule it because they didn't know how she was going to feel....we would just have to call and see if it was a good time. Finally, the 4th day, we just decided to go without calling. We figured out that if we called, they were going to come up with an excuse. (Ex-SIL really liked to be in control, was very manipulative, and I was pregnant with DD and I think she was afraid people would be paying attention to me instead of her, asking about my due date, saying I was next, so she wouldn't allow her husband's brother to come meet their baby. It was ridiculous) When the same cousin who had told us we had a nephew found out we hadn't been allowed to visit yet, and they were scheduled to visit that day for the 3rd time, he called my BIL to cancel and told him to invite us instead. So we were already halfway to their house when we got a phonecall from BIL saying they'd had a cancelation if we'd like to stop by. We said that was good, because we were already almost there and we didn't need to see mama if she was tired or had a headache or didn't want visitors herself. We'd be fine with just meeting the baby. So we finally got to meet him 4 days after he was born. I think we were the last ones to get to see him.
I'm glad you have already gotten to visit so much....enjoy getting to know each other. It's really such a special time, and I'm sure you'll love being a grandparent!

Oh I love that!! DD wants a red and white polkadot dress for Disney next Summer. I've found pink, green, and blue polkadot material, but no red!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:
