If points are only $1 more but the service is better and less hassle then it would be worth it.
I tried David's initially because they were recommended both here and on Mouse Savers and here, but they couldn't get me what I wanted. So we shall try DVC Rental. The only thing is they won't accept PayPal credit so I'll have to pay via credit card. Not that it's a huge deal, but it would have been nice to pay over six months. At least they don't charge for the full amount up front. And also, not like I have low credit card limits...of limited funds to pay them off...

So, 2 Saturday mornings ago I walked out to my car and noticed the rear passenger-side tire was half flat. Checked it out, and sure ‘nuff, a small trim nail bent over on the top, right in the tread (fortunately, not the sidewall). Also, fortunately, Discount tire fixes flats for free, even if you didn’t buy the tire from them, which in this case we hadn’t, as the rear tires are 2 of the original tires that came with the car. I never had to take the tire off the car, and the tire was fixed for free...***BOOM***!!!!! :hilarious:

Fast forward to this morning...
I walk out to my ride to head to the office and notice my drivers-side front tire is half flat...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious:
After inspecting it, I didn’t see anything at first, but, then rolled the car back to find a screw...again, fortunately in the tread and not the sidewall...!!! :)
I drug out the compressor and got the tire good and set up, then promptly headed to Discount Tire again...!!! :)
Even if the tire would have been unrepairable, they would have just slapped a new one on for free, as the 2 front tires were recently purchased from them, and still under warranty...again...***BOOM***...!!!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious: ;) :)

Bonus...
I was the second person in line at 7:28a (they open at 8a), they had me out of there by 8:26a, and, somehow, I got to the office and was clocked in by 9:01a, just in time for our Monday morning meeting...!!! :)

Had the same issue once. I would still order from both.
I think I got the rental ones when I went solo to AK.. and David's when I got with my family to Old Key West.

They are funny... I one day just couldn't eat them anymore.. they make my throat and ears itch and swell. The one thing I read is that sometimes allergies can evolve if you eat too much of something. I can definitely say I ate a lot of sunflower seeds... by the jarful.... so yeah... every once in awhile I'll try some, no luck so far. My mother in law tried to kill me with some granola type stuff last year... and for some reason I didn't even think about it when I popped it in my mouth... luckily I didn't have a lot.

Sincerely, very sorry about that. Food allergies are a major health issue for so many. I feel very fortunate not to have that be an issue for any of my family or myself.
So very good to hear you’re on top of it, though...!!!!! :)

Whats the catch on that card? I've seen nightmare stories.. claiming the bank behind it is.. kinda shady.
No catch that I could see...and I read the fine print. The reviews I read where people had problems were people who were really stupid when it comes to credit cards. As long as you pay the balance off on time, should be fine. I always pay my cards on time. Chase is the bank behind this one, as well as Disney Visa. We've had Disney Visas for years with no trouble. And if I do have trouble and I don't get through to them...I'll just have them speak to my lawyer. :joyfull:

Basically, I had an Amazon store card, which was my first credit card ever and I used to build my credit. Now that my credit qualifies as excellent, I want to switch off using store cards and on to using "real" cards as much as possible unless there's a specific reason to use a store card (for instance, Macy's and Best Buy offer 5% back on store purchases and special cardholder coupons, so I'll keep those for now, especially since I don't shop at either one very often). For Amazon, it made sense to switch off of the low limit store card to the higher limit Visa since I probably make about 1/3 of my monthly purchases on Amazon. Then I'll be carrying a lower debt to credit ratio on the card, and I'll have a credit I'm not using. I can already feel my score going up.

I've recently been thinking about an old Italian Disney fansite called "Ginevra's Disney Page" that brought back fond memories. The site is dedicated to Disney Coloring Pages and was first created in 2000. The site hasn't been updated since 2005 (especially since the latest updates on the index was The Incredibles from 2004). As a kid, I visited that site daily during the time when both Disneyland and WDW was honoring the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. My favorite memories is hearing certain Disney music when you click on an index for a Disney animated film.

Here's the link (also be careful with some of the links) use ad block.

My favorite pages is Lady and the Tramp, Pinocchio, and The lion King because of how wonderful the music is. Especially for a website made in 2000. I'm surprised its still up after all these years.
