Mom going, she wants to see Vancouver and Victoria again. Plus her friend will drive us around.
And my grandmah was delivered to the care house a few days ago.

How does she like the new place or should I not ask?

A new company took over the management at his Margaritaville location earlier this year. They let him go in July and combined his job with another manager’s job.

So he’s back at the stadium, where he was for years. We were lucky there was no disruption in income, but there are no benefits.

Something brewing on the back burner. Fingers crossed.

The like was for the backburner. They didn't know they were letting go of a great manager. Sorry. Dh thought it was cool that I "knew" someone who is married to someone who works at that stadium. He likes the Dolphins. My youngest doesn't follow football, but she loves their uniforms.

Having a drama-filled day here. I started painting my bathroom walls, and the doorbell rang. I hung my head out the window to see who was there. I recognized this 20- something guy from walking on our road several times in the past month. He wanted to be taken to get gas cause his car had run out. I told him no. He has no car. I was extremely nervous cause I was alone. He left and walked out of the neighborhood. Well, ten minutes later a sheriff's car pulled into our neighborhood. One of our neighbors, who is a city policeman, had called them because the guy had been acting suspicious going to only certain neighbor's doors. He believes he was casing the houses. Later, my neighbor let me know they had picked the guy up on probation violations, etc. I am so glad we have a policeman in our neighborhood!
And now we have this hurricane barreling towards our state. My DD and SIL are in the bulls-eye if it stays on course. I am hoping it changes and goes more east. Also, my niece lives on the coast and has to evacuate so she is headed back to the mountains. Please keep everyone in your prayers and thoughts including all the utility personnel. We haven't found out if and when my DH may have to go help. Thanks everyone!

My prayers for your family. I hope they will be safe. I know one family that is headed to Myrtle Beach for Saturday. Funny thing is they were there last year for the hurricane that hit. Maybe it is all there fault. But all kidding aside, I hope it decides to stay out to sea.

I hung out with Adriene twice today. It was supposed to stop raining at 9 this morning and reach 72 degrees. It was 59 at noon and 59 now.

One of my friends is going in February, and I was looking at this as an option for her as we'll be at BWV and she'd be super close. But their website is saying no availability. Not sure if it's the construction or if something else is going on.

I don't like this either. I just checked a bunch of dates for you from Jan1 on and they're all showing sold out which is strange to say the least. Maybe a phone call is In order

Well, the first thing I'm trying is DVC point rentals. I just put in a request with the DVC rental store and asked that they just check availability for Studios across the board and that if a split stay is possible, fine. We shall see how this goes. If we can get a studio, I'll stay with her and help with the cost. If not, I'm looking at other options. As a last resort, she can stay at Pop, but she'd be over there by herself. I'd hate to do that to her.
