Job interview? Best of luck!!!!!!!Loads of pixie dust and hugs! They will love you! Let us know how things are going, please.
Nope, exams and certifications.

But arriving late night at Vancouver, not a fan. And we're staying on an airbnb home for the first time.. plus its all the way to the north (very far from the airport).

The first 2 days are going to be tight hours wise.

He is working games and at Margaritaville? What a busy guy! Helps pay for more Disney trips I bet.;)

A new company took over the management at his Margaritaville location earlier this year. They let him go in July and combined his job with another manager’s job.

So he’s back at the stadium, where he was for years. We were lucky there was no disruption in income, but there are no benefits.

Something brewing on the back burner. Fingers crossed.

Having a drama-filled day here. I started painting my bathroom walls, and the doorbell rang. I hung my head out the window to see who was there. I recognized this 20- something guy from walking on our road several times in the past month. He wanted to be taken to get gas cause his car had run out. I told him no. He has no car. I was extremely nervous cause I was alone. He left and walked out of the neighborhood. Well, ten minutes later a sheriff's car pulled into our neighborhood. One of our neighbors, who is a city policeman, had called them because the guy had been acting suspicious going to only certain neighbor's doors. He believes he was casing the houses. Later, my neighbor let me know they had picked the guy up on probation violations, etc. I am so glad we have a policeman in our neighborhood!
And now we have this hurricane barreling towards our state. My DD and SIL are in the bulls-eye if it stays on course. I am hoping it changes and goes more east. Also, my niece lives on the coast and has to evacuate so she is headed back to the mountains. Please keep everyone in your prayers and thoughts including all the utility personnel. We haven't found out if and when my DH may have to go help. Thanks everyone!:)

I haven't spoken to them since the threat became more real. I hope to be able to find out today. The house is still an enclosed shelter if need be. I'm sure that no construction will be going on during a hurricane. But, we had some pretty strong winds when they had taken a quick trip (vacation) earlier this summer and the tent remained in place. Hopefully, if it makes landfall close by, by the time it gets inland, 130 miles it will be more of a tropical storm and less of a hurricane.
I hope you heard from them by now and they have a plan

Meanwhile B was supposed to be home at a reasonable hour for dinner last night, but ended up working at the longest game in NFL history, and of course there are post-game duties, so it was after 11pm.

And speaking of parking, they used to give him parking passes, but apparently not anymore, so he has to park in an offsite lot and take a bus or something.
Sympathy like that stinks
