As mentioned, I don't follow football, but your $15 to park at your stadium sounded very low to me. I just looked up Gillette in MA and it's $40 per car. And at the TD Garden in Boston (Celtics, Bruins) the rate if $50 for event parking ($75, if you lose your ticket . . . LOL ... :p ).

So glad I never was interested in team sports! (Then again, even if I was, I'd only take public transportation to these places--costs a fraction of the price.)
What!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Keep those away from me! When I turned 25, I suddenly became allergic to the seeds. I still miss them =(

Sorry to hear about that.
So far (knock on wood - my head ;)), I have yet to become allergic to any food...that I know of, anyway...! :cyclops: :)

Years ago, youngest DD had 3 allergic reactions over about an 18 mo. period.
She would, seemingly out of nowhere, break out in hives all over her body. She had no breathing problems or anything like that, just the hives.
We took her to an allergist for testing, and they were never able to find out what she was allergic to... :cyclops:
After the 3rd reaction she never had another one, and that was over a decade ago.
When I told the doc she had never had a reaction like that to anything before, he simply said... “ “Allergies are a funny thing. One day you’re not allergic to something, and the next day you are.”
I suppose that, maybe, in her case, she became allergic to something, then the opposite happened and she became unallergic to it again, then...?
Who knows...???

Oh, you don't actually park at the stadium. That's a nuisance to get out of and costs more. We have ample garages in the city that are cheap and only a few blocks away. It also keeps the stadiums from driving up the prices. Of course, we only have the Orioles and the Ravens. Their stadiums are literally right next to each other. You can be at one and look over and see the other.

Baltimore's public transportation is lousy, not to mention gets a lot of different Raff from the parts of the city that aren't as safe. It's always better to drive here or take and Uber or Lyft.

I don't watch team sports, but I've heard from others I know, that above the actual ticket prices, it's the parking and other fees & food that get you! :jawdrop:
I can say the same thing about concerts. The place that held TSO concerts in the past is a sports arena and less said about food and drink prices the better. Most concerts around the area I live is held downtown and Downtown has a well earned reputation for parking being an issue. The only way to park downtown is parking garages, parking lots, or parking on the street with you being charged to park.

What I do is eat before or after the concert depending on the time of the concert.

The scary thing is that old sports arena is going to be teared down soon with a new Sports arena. What I read is the new Sports arena during their open house is they got backlash for selling beer for $11.00:greedy::jawdrop:. You don't want to know about the prices for water or soda either there.

The new sports arena has even eating vendors with there being 31 different concession vendors including a fried chicken vendor that has two locations outside of the arena.

I know the chicken vendor's prices very well outside of the sports arena, but I expect the prices to be higher at the arena. The Fried Chicken place is a local take out place and is known to better than fried chicken chains in the city I live in.

A tale of two cities, then. ;) There are also some satellite garages, if people want to walk, but even those at minimum are at least $25 for a game. Too bad your city's transit isn't a better option -- ours is fine, and tons of people use it daily.

Maryland has the worst public transportation system anywhere. Most parts of the state have no public transportation system. And the parts that do either have lousy or unsafe public transportation. Seriously, if you are a small white woman, you know you do not take public transportation. It's easier to drive or Uber down to the city. The worst part is that we have lousy drivers and even worse pedestrians down there. Of course, we have lousy drivers and pedestrians everywhere in this state...

The only bright spot is that we do have the Marc train which can get us down to DC from the airport and a few other locations. That is perfectly safe and easier than driving down there.

Sympathy like but to be honest I haven't found the drivers to be worse than the ones in Boston.
