Yeah, I don’t want to complain, especially because we had so many cancelled games in the Spring season, and I did complain about that.. but wow, I keep staring at the schedule and bracing myself. It’s brutal. We will be eating and breathing soccer for sure.
I can’t imagine if we would have stayed on the school team. I guess things work out for a reason. :)

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but T is doing goal keeper training this year, which adds another 90 minute practice.. but luckily it’s on the same night as a regular practice. He’ll be at the fields for 3.5 hours that night, but it means that we only have practices on 3 nights of the week. We’ll have 2 days per week off, more than we had in the Spring!

Is your daughter excited for the cheer season to start up again?

{{{HUGS}}} Chlorine was my kids oxygen

My kids only had Sundays off for competitive swimming, either a meet or practice. Mornings 5:45 until 8am during summer. Evening Practice 5pm till 630pm.
There were two a days M,T,TH&F Meets on Weds Evenings and Saturday Mornings at 8am warm ups at 7am or on a bus to away meets by 630am. Winter Club was worse and High School had weights in the morning before school 5:45am until 7am and in water 4pm-6pm. If nothing else they learned time management, how to do homework on the bus and in cars and nobody on had time nor energy to ever get themselves into trouble. Neither kid had any regrets.

To be honest, I think that starting a TR thread in Chit Chat area will get it moved to the Travel Report section quicker. Leave it where it is, many of us, as a group use this thread to chat among ourselves. No one is offended by it being here and even if we did all we have to do is skip over it. Let's not make this thread like the Rumor and Crap ones frequented by 12 year olds. If the Mom didn't tell you to move it... it is fine. The less made of it, the better.

This and well said @Goofyernmost

I have found that if I want some reaction to something....THIS is the place to do it. Yesterday I had a funny "thread" of sorts goin' on right here. Erasers were a hot topic. I should have just posted the Busch Gardens thing here. Well....actually..No. It was way too lengthy. Whatever. It sincerely doesn't matter. I was just killing time anyway. Thanks :)
might want to share the link for your post. Not everyone is checking the main forums for updates.
I have so much to see on so many websites, that I only focus on very few threads and ignore most new posts elsewhere.

Oh, I meant to tell you last week that the new season of the (reality show) Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Making the Squad, began. I think it was last Saturday. You had asked about the show a few months ago, as you thought your daughter might like it. It's on CMT, and I copied the web site for the show, if she wants to see it. (Although they are really more of a dance squad than a typical school cheer squad.) Interesting show --

Oh gosh, my mom and I have watched that show for years. We were watching when all the girls were older than me, and now so many of them are younger than me that are on the team now, and I'm like...'kay, what happened here?:hilarious:

She has every episode from this season on the DVR I believe.

Someone I know said she prefers the Grandeur of the Seas that leaves out of Baltimore because it is smaller
The only thing to keep in mind about any cruises sailing out if Baltimore is that the ships are small and if you hit rough water, that doesn't feel so good. We have friends who have sworn off cruises leaving from Baltimore because there were a few times where they ended up very sick. They only do larger cruises because they don't get seasick, even though they have to go further to get there.

You know what, Busch Gardens is great but it is a one day experience. Disney World is a multi day experience. You don't have to give up a week in Disney. If life circumstances allow, and a family can drive rather than fly, it's nice to do both. A week of Disney in July and a visit to Busch Gardens in August....just for example.@Goofyernmost are you aware of Busch Garden's new attraction? "Battle for Eire" 360 degrees virtual reality adventure. I posted a video on my lonely neglected thread
Maybe in a couple of years when we can all get the same time off at the same time. But it would have to be one big trip my dh finds it easier to get large blocks of time or single days off:cautious: It would have to be on the way down because we'd have to bring our own food. I contacted their food services department and let's say they don't give as good info about allergies as Disney or even UNI

Oh! I'm so sorry....I should have asked if people minded me posting here. I thought the TR thread was only for Disney trips, so I just put it here, but I can certainly do spoiler tags if people prefer that, so they can just scroll past. It IS kind of spammy.
Please keep posting here. We all love your TR. I believe what @MinnieM123 was saying is only we get to see your TR and people who don't pop in here would also like to see it.

I love it and I think @MinnieM123 is enjoying it so much as well that she thinks others in the TR forum might enjoy it as well. If you did that though, I am not sure if I would read it since I don’t venture that much outside this thread anymore. Never enough time it seems.

I started at the castle - I have to catch up but since my heart belongs in Europe, I like it.

That is great information! My dh has gotten seasick before and my ds has some motion issues.
