Also corn mazes, steam trains, quilt everything, Amish veggie stands on the back roads, https://theoldcountrystore.com/ a bit touristy but nice
We've done the Amish buggy ride two different years.
We visited the Mennonite Information Center and had a guide come in our car to give us an expert tour. He says: "Pull over here"....I do...then he tells a story. You drive...he talks. It's cool!
Been multiple times to Sight and Sound Theater
and American Music Theater.
Strasburg Railroad.
On and on could go my list but I'll stop there so everyone is not totally bored ;):D

Yes. Walmart has organic frozen veggies and fruit that are cheaper than the supermarket. Organic bananas are cheap too. My breakfast smoothie today was a banana, frozen berries, dried coconut, and coconut milk. I will throw in spinach because you don't really taste it, but you don't have to. All of that per meal is cheap because the dried coconut comes in a big bag by Bob's Red Mill. Coconut milk at Walmart from So Delicious is cheap as well at Walmart. My supermarket charges $1 more than Walmart for it.
Aldi's has also upped their organic and allergy safe options in the past couple of years:joyfull:

I have to share this with you all (especially @dryerlintfan) it brought tears to my eyes.

I posted this on FB yesterday, similar to what I posted on this thread-

One of the responses was from a SAHM who offered to take her own son to practice early occasionally, so she could bring T wi

th them. I responded that I would never let her do that, but thanked her.

Then I just read the comment below.

I absolutely hate asking for help, but I just had to smile, there are a lot of good humans out there ❤️ .

That's just crazy talk. I used to decide at about 10am that I was jonesing for a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich and drive from Mid-Vermont to Montreal. Not a 2.5 hour drive but by the time you get into the heart of the city and find a place to park and then walk to Dunn's Deli on St. Catherine Street the timing is about the same. Have a sandwich (which by the way was at least 3 inches, if not more, thick) get back to the car and drive back home. Just looking at the picture has me drooling.

That looks fantastic and worth the drive. There is a deli in St. Paul MN (Cecil's) that has awesome sandwiches like that. It is near the seminary that my husband has to go to sometimes for churchy duties so he usually has the task of bringing home at least one sandwich for each of us. Hmmm, maybe we need to make a stop there this weekend....

But.... but... but then I'd have to go to Walmart :banghead::banghead:

Sometimes Walmart is a necessary evil especially when trying to save some $$. Or in my case is the only major store in quick driving distance besides my grocery store. If I want to go to Target I have a 40-45 minutes drive which unless I'm already in that area for something else negates the idea of saving money. I'm just glad my Walmart is recently renovated, clean, and has good selections.

It's so nice that people are willing to help. I know it can be hard to ask for help, but keep in mind that maybe you might be able to help someone out too someday.

I don't hate Walmart or Target, but...... I'm on such a strict budget right now due to life upheaval. Both Walmart and Target are dangerous with a 3 year old. You end up buying a million things you didn't plan on buying and they're all out of what you went in there for in the first place :hilarious::hilarious:

Last time I went to Walmart I needed a tub for A's shopkins, and we walked out with more shopkins :hilarious::hilarious:
