I don't hate Walmart or Target, but...... I'm on such a strict budget right now due to life upheaval. Both Walmart and Target are dangerous with a 3 year old. You end up buying a million things you didn't plan on buying and they're all out of what you went in there for in the first place

Last time I went to Walmart I needed a tub for A's shopkins, and we walked out with more shopkins

Oh I know, I always try to stick to my list but end up with other things, usually something for the dog. I have thought about doing the Walmart pickup, where I place my order online and then just drive up and they deliver it to my car. That would take away the temptation!

One of the responses was from a SAHM who offered to take her own son to practice early occasionally, so she could bring T wi

th them. I responded that I would never let her do that, but thanked her.

I absolutely hate asking for help, but I just had to smile, there are a lot of good humans out there .

It is hard to ask for help when you are used to doing everything yourself and showing everyone you can. It is ok to accept help though once in a while. I would accept their offers for bringing him to practice once in a while and you can just show up later and bring him home.

I agree @21stamps. Every once in a while, take them up on it. It feels really great to be able to help someone else, so you'd be making them feel great too

Thank you. He's not any more(hence not being able to get tax free booze) but working for who he does means they can ship him to some rather unfun places if they see fit. I'm just going to keep everything crossed for the next couple of months.

That looks fantastic and worth the drive. There is a deli in St. Paul MN (Cecil's) that has awesome sandwiches like that. It is near the seminary that my husband has to go to sometimes for churchy duties so he usually has the task of bringing home at least one sandwich for each of us. Hmmm, maybe we need to make a stop there this weekend....

Believe me I have tried other places for years now. Even those that advertise Montreal Smoked Meat. Not even close. Anyone that has ever had one of those will know what I am talking about. The seasoning, the tenderness of the meat, the small pieces of Rye Bread and yellow mustard. I've tried to duplicate it. In fact, just today, I had purchased some corned beef and tried to duplicate. Just didn't work, it was good, but, not THE sandwich.

They all release predominantly Spanish speaking music..which is another reason why it’s so strange to suddenly hear Adele, in English.lol I’ve never even heard an English Marc Anthony or Enrique song on any of these channels.

Awesome! We are huge Enrique fans here.. if you’re even next to us at a red light when El Perdón or Duele el Coranzón is playing.. well, please don’t record us with your phone.. but feel free to laugh at our singing and synchronized dance moves.. we have specific “Car dances” to those songs.

Sorry I was getting my hair cut so I just got home. Whisk together 1/3 c lime juice, 2 T snipped cilantro, 1tsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 1/4 tsp honey. Pour and toss.
