You would think they could throw a little more money their way. I have no clue what they make though. Is it a part-time job? I thought I read once that most have other careers.

I don't know that much about it--I've seen the show from time to time, but it focused more on the training camp. However, they must have regular jobs as well, as they couldn't possibly live off the amount they make at the games. They all seem to have roommates, too, to help share expenses.

I have never seen the show. I wonder if youngest would like it, or is she too young for it?

To answer your inquiries, I'd suggest you go directly to their web site--lots of information. (From the shows I've seen, the women look to be at least 18 and above--most in their twenties, I say.) A number of them have a lot of dance experience background and some have come from other pro squads. But it is a mixture of different types and abilities.

I would have no qualms about letting my daughter watch the show, except maybe for body image. They focus a lot on the need to be a well rounded person to be a DC cheerleader. The girls will get kicked off the squad, for example, if images surface on their social media of them boozing it up. It's just a bunch of young ladies trying to live their dream. And some fun music and dancing. So it's wholesome. It's a wholesome show.

That said, they'll look at a girl who is gorgeous and tell her she needs to lose weight because she's jiggly on the jumbo tron. So there's potential there for body issues with young viewers.

And yes, the girls all have jobs outside of the team (and the show). Some of them have really impressive jobs, actually.

Disney pic time from vacation. Only a few. I know the cheetah picture is bad but it's my first time seeing the cheetahs at Disney. Was soooo happy. And the drivers only stop completely for a few seconds. I love that every time you go in Animal Kingdom, you get a different animal experience every time. (if they're not sleeping).

The bee took a few minutes to get. Buzzing around so much that I couldn't zoom, find the bee and snap a picture but it was taking near the Plaza.

The flower/monorail pic just makes me wish I was there! So beautiful.

Sadness. Though it is kinda of ironic in a way. People are coming to the store because it's cheaper. Who would have thought?

Toys R Us and Barnes and Noble are two different stores but a prime example why Disney and Universal can't keep up their current prices in the long term.

Wait, what’s going on with B&N? Did I miss something? I couldn’t handle if B&N crumbled, I’m having a hard enough time with Toys R Us. I cried when Borders closed and rarely went into their stores.. but not my beloved B&N!!

When do you find out? The suspense must be hard. But he'll be fine either way...he may not want to think about not making it, and you've done your best to prepare him. If he doesn't, yes....he'll be upset. BUT, he'll live. And he'll learn. You are doing fine, mama...you'll deal with whatever comes, and he will too.

It was supposed to be yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon I received an email (everyone did) that they are having a tough time with decisions and apologizing for the delay.
That did not calm my nerves. 72 hours is supposed to be the maximum timeframe for results. I’ve already put in my head the thought that he didn’t make it, so they can procrastinate T’s email for a week if they want. I’d rather him enjoy the first week of summer without that news.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. The cheetah one is actually pretty good considering how far away they are and how short of a moment you had to take it. The Epcot garden one was my favorite.

I think my pin code expires soon.. I haven’t used it yet.. all of these pictures are not making it easy!!
Do you guys have any other plans for the summer, Hilton Head this year?
Remember that those are F&G pictures. The park looks much different in the summer and fall. I was shocked the first time we went after F&G. It was much less flowery and I realized that they cannot keep those flowers so healthy in the Florida summer heat.

I know! That’s the one time of year when I’ve never been. Every photo I’ve seen of Epcot looks so beautiful! I don’t see any way possible to vacation during the Spring any time soon, so I may just be stuck fawning over photos.

I have been hearing about a possible B&N closing for years now. Some have from what I understand, but, not all of them. My theory is that if you sell books, but, your business plan is to provide comfortable chairs for people read book that they have for sale for no charge and rely on the sale of overpriced coffee to make up the difference, it seems to me to be very predictable that there is a flaw in the logic someplace. And the price on the books tend to make it more likely to be a sit in usage then a pay and carry out situation. That doesn't pay very many bills. It seems similar to if Disney decided not to charge to get in, but, they would like you to buy a t-shirt before you leave. Please! The ones I have been in were full of sitting people, but, I was buying a gift and of the line of 6 registers, I was the only one standing there.
