Well, that was fun...again...
Finally done movin' oldest DD and SonIL into their new home...!!!!!!! :joyfull::)
Got all the big stuff in, and only smaller stuff left at their old place that they'll get tomorrow.
2-story home with 4 bedrooms upstairs and a guest/office downstairs.
Had a high of 97 with a heat index of 103 today...a bit tuckered out, but, feels good to have gotten the vast majority of it done...!!!!! :);)

I don't need to watch it every year one or 2 of them wind up on the news for either disorderly conduct or something deserving of a Darwin award. That being said they are underpaid.

Oh my, I hadn't heard that before. (Not referring to the low pay thing--apparently, that's an issue with all the professional cheer teams. Could never understand that part--football is such a huge moneymaker--you'd think they could throw a few more bucks to their cheer squads.)

I hate winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our local strawberries are still a couple of weeks away:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I was in the supermarket yesterday, and they had a ton of strawberries--a huge display with sponge cakes and cans of whipped cream. I was tempted, but didn't buy any. Strawberries were maybe were from California? So if you want strawberries, just check your local grocery store. :)

But sometimes a coach, director, judge wants chocolate, and sometimes he wants vanilla. It doesn't mean you aren't good....just not what he's looking for at that moment.

Sounds like when a person goes on job interviews--many qualified candidates, yet only one is chosen. And qualifications and nuances can be random, depending upon the hiring person.

I recall a guy (who was at the time, the head of a small computer company) telling me that they were interviewing techs. He said they had 3 great candidates, and it was impossible to choose. He said it actually came down to the fact that one of them mentioned he liked tennis in his spare time. Turns out almost half of the office were tennis players--so guess who got the job? :joyfull:

I have a box from the grocery store but was hoping to get a couple of cases to freeze.

You would think they could throw a little more money their way. I have no clue what they make though. Is it a part-time job? I thought I read once that most have other careers.
