@93boomer and @dryerlintfan , here is the redesigned front of World of Disney (Disney Marketplace). I saw some children staring in awe of the Cinderella coach on top of the sign (the older top, before redesign, was Stitch, correct?).
Anyway, I thought about people here with children when I took this picture. (And, @dryerlintfan , there are more princess dresses in there than you can shake a stick at!! "A" would love this place!! )

It's my arthritis. I have to wear sturdy non-slip shoes but usually I'm barefoot.
True true. Although mine definitely are not in a hurry to make me go anywhere, it's a very fine line walking between "Yes, I live here, but no, I don't need to be told what to do."One must be careful with that kind of thing. A possible response to that statement is... You're right you are an adult now, don't you think it is time to be out on your own?
I too took a nap today. Migraine. We had some bad storms come through today. It's gone now, but the storms were bad. I was woken up at one point by a crash of lightning outside my window. It was loud. Of course, me being me, I double checked that I didn't need to go to the basement and then went back to sleep.NAP TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEE

All of our sports are June 1st. It is just like our schools enrollment September 1. Born September 2 they miss that school year. Actually my son never minded. He had friends one year that were a grade older and the next year friends a year younger on his teams. He played lots of sports in elementary school. We never had a choice. We knew the cut off dates were firm and we just rolled with it. The cut off dates were set before they were born. The cut off now (per USSF) is Jan 1 to December 31st. Previously the rules always had a cut off, but it favored the school year.. usually August 1st. Baseball switched last year to a May cut off.. but allowed kids to play up.
My Brother and I both have summer birthdays, my sister has a late September (youngest in her grade), and none of us ever played below our grade level. But, I can understand the “late birthdays” having a choice.
My son’s birthday is mid April. So he will be one of the oldest “2010” kids, and be playing with the youngest 2011 kids (1st graders). Not allowing them to play up, forcing 3rd graders to repeat a 3rd year of an intro level, is nothing short of a horrible mistake.
It works in Club soccer because they are in single birth years.. not 2 combined.
I’m leaving the decision up to him, but we may withdraw from the team.. something I never thought would happen.

We debated sending my daughter to private school since she missed a school year. We thought it through and didn’t want her to be the last to drive etc by being pushed up and her being out of whack with age groups for activities so we went with the flow. Really both came out the other side happy and well.
Well, that was fun... Headin' back tomorrow to, hopefully, finish up...!!!
@MinnieM123 look at the fun mug my husband picked up for me at the Disney outlet!

That's very nice of him. Yesterday, I was strolling through Target, and I was surprised to see all the Disney-related merchandise they had. I assume it's the same across the country. Next time you're in Target (if one is near you), check it out!
This is my favorite (tray service) 24-hour, cafeteria on WDW hotel property. It's at the Dolphin, and I go there a number of times (while I'm staying over at the Swan -- across the walkway between Swan & Dolphin). Prices aren't bad and the portions are generous. What I love is the whimsical design--very cheery and upbeat. It's popular with families (and also business travelers, when taking a break from a convention in the hotel).
(It was mid-afternoon one day and wide open, before the dinner crowds arrive. So I was able to get a few pictures.)

I hope you get in a little rest for yourself this weekend--seems like you've been working every day (all positive, helping out the family). But, I think you also need a nap.
