I know how Asthma and Allergies are. I've been taking allergy shots every 28 days for many years. I have to take medication for my asthma because if I don't, I would be getting inflammation of the lungs. This time of the year in the past did a number on me.
I did the shots for five years. Well worth it, but I still have troubles from time to time.

Sorry you're dealing with all that. A number of people on here have allergies.
It's a genetic thing.

My younger brother almost died of an asthma attack when he was 3 years old from a cat at another person's house. I saw it happen.

Allergies is something that I am accustom of by now. I had an allergy test back when I was 7 years old and I've been on allergy shots since. I first had signs when I was 6 or 7 years old.

We had to get a rid of a great dog due to the allergies:(, but she went to a good home though before she died. The people we sold her to had young kids and the mom took care of animals at a zoo. The dog liked kids, like to be petted, well behaved, and watched over the family.

I love my children and won't make them walk around in their undies. Long story short James needs shorts. 2 pairs down and many to go. I had hoped once he hit the men's department clothes would fir a bit longer. Guess my me projects are going on the back burner for a while:(
This is smart though! Every year I buy so many clothes for T during the Springs sales, then he’s grown out of half of them while they’re still hanging with tags.
This is the first year that I have NOT done that. I bought him enough to get by right now, and he’ll get more as the weather gets warmer.

Sad to hear that your projects are going to the back burner :(

On the topic of sewing..... My mom made all our stockings, so i wanted to make them for my small family. After about four hours i had to give up though, because this was the best i could do :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Personally, I think that stocking is as cute as a bugs ear...!!!!! :)
Next time maybe just make sure to flair the lower leg part out as it goes up?
As if I'm some kinda' stocking sewing expert...!!!:hilarious:

Anyway, a thousand times better than these "stockings"...!!!!!!! :joyfull::cyclops::hilarious:;)

We did the same thing. I think we spent about $1k total on our wedding (largely thanks to our chef friend gifting us her catering, and my in-laws making the wine), and then we went backpacking through Patagonia for our honeymoon and that cost us a pretty penny.

As I've posted before, DWifeys mom payed for her Dress(s :cyclops:), my folks payed for the catering, DWifeys favorite aunt made both beautiful wedding cakes, and DWifeys grandfather gifted us $1,000 to put towards our wedding. About 250 invitations went out, and about 225 folks showed up. It was one hoot of a day and night, and we wouldn't trade it for anything, and are still grateful for all the financial help!!!
DWifey and I didn't, necessarily, want it all that big, but, in the end, it all turned out so perfect!!!!!
Also, we did pay for all the rest ourselves, including our WDW honeymoon...!!!!! :joyfull:

I'll take a 12" Bacon and cheese pizza with a side of hot wings and a large diet coke.

Food is being prepared now. However, we cannot guarantee delivery anymore, due to the food truck constantly breaking down. Can you stop by in 30 minutes instead? Is there a fast ferry from Guernsey to the U.S.? We'll give you a discount.
