It's a genetic thing.

My younger brother almost died of an asthma attack when he was 3 years old from a cat at another person's house. I saw it happen.

Allergies is something that I am accustom of by now. I had an allergy test back when I was 7 years old and I've been on allergy shots since. I first had signs when I was 6 or 7 years old.

We had to get a rid of a great dog due to the allergies:(, but she went to a good home though before she died. The people we sold her to had young kids and the mom took care of animals at a zoo. The dog liked kids, like to be petted, well behaved, and watched over the family.

THNX I'm sure he could have made do for a while with his size smalls seeing he's a bean pole but he complained quite a bit the past couple of days so I may as well get them over with. I have a gazillion pairs of size 32 dressy shorts so I only have to make a large stack of pull ons for around the house, yard work and such. Both boys now wear the same size so I'll make 10 pairs and the total cost will be about $20 including elastic and thread. My dh doesn't make fun of me buying clearence fabric and stashing it away any more:D edit the quote from @21stamps showed when typing but not when I posted:hilarious:

This is smart though! Every year I buy so many clothes for T during the Springs sales, then he’s grown out of half of them while they’re still hanging with tags.
This is the first year that I have NOT done that. I bought him enough to get by right now, and he’ll get more as the weather gets warmer.

Sad to hear that your projects are going to the back burner :(

I learned that lesson last summer. I bought a ton of really cute end of season clearance summer clothing for A, and it fit her perfectly, but then when summer actually rolled around she wanted nothing to do with it because it was not a dress. And then it was not a princess dress. So now I make her tell me what she wants to wear. I spend more on the clothing, but I think I spend less overall because I buy less.

The other cats don't mind this intruder, who by the way, is adorable.:)
Mine are at home. I'm staying overnight at their house. My cats were very suspicious when I went home to eat with my family. Belle wouldn't come to me at first because she was mad, and Jasmine sniffed and sniffed and sniffed...

I love their cat. This morning, she made the dog (who slept with me) get off the bed so I could pet her. She also has been following me around the house and greets me at the door when I come in. And she likes torturing the dog, which is hysterical.

So.. volcano in Hawaii.

Was looking at the map and I'm still scratching my head.
The volcano that supposedly exploded was so far from the area they said its affecting.

But then in some of the news, it says that its actually one of the "vents" on one of the side of the volcano thats causing the lava flow.

I'm still sorta confused.

The problem seems to be mostly the sulfuric gas coming from it. They've advised children, the elderly, and those with respiratory issues to leave.

The volcano is also spewing lava into the air, which is sending it further away.

This is why I will never travel to the big Island of Hawaii.
