Air bags deployed, but she says she’s fine, she declined the ambulance. Luckily(?) the wreck happened as she was pulling into work- a hospital, and she is surrounded by several hospitals in that area.
My mom spoke quickly and just said she’s driving to meet her now. Thankfully it sounds good physically? Not so good for the Pilot though. I hope for her that it isn’t totaled. The airbag deployment doesn’t sound promising.

What is it with weddings and the bride and groom not getting to eat? Our DJ had told us that WE got to give the sign for things like the first dance. Sometimes, people would try to get the DJ to start when the couple wasn't ready, so he'd take his cue from us. We had a buffet of little things like swedish meatballs, cocktail sausages, stuffed mushrooms, etc. So as the newly married couple, we opened the buffet. We go, get our plates, take them back and sit down, I have eaten one meatball, and he calls for the first dance. So DH and I put down our forks and go to dance. We finish, go back, and our plates have been cleared away....no biggie...we'll go get more...only, they were taking down the buffet already. They were told to take down the buffet once the dancing started. So I got one meatball at my wedding. They did give us all the leftovers, though. My brother's friends were very grateful. As we left for our honeymoon, they had a big party at my brother's house with all the leftovers from our reception.

Not at our wedding we had fried chicken. There was no way we weren’t going to eat!!! We had only 50 people at the dinner though so that might have made a difference. The dance we opened up to the whole congregation and to my work colleagues but dinner was closer friends and family. There was no way I was paying to feed all the people in Brads congregation!

First I'll make a mock up in muslin and once the fir is perfect I have some lavender linen. This is going to take a while. I'm allergic to inside in nice weather I didn't know until today they call the postal service on the other side of the pond Royal Mail until today.

That is a beautiful pattern and that dress is the one I like the best.

Have you thought about making your own roasted chick peas? They're quite easy to do. Chick peas, evoo and the spices of your choice. Not much work and much cheaper when feeding an army

Do they get crunchy? These were like crackers or corn nuts crunch wise. What oven temp? Do they need to be cooked first or just soaked overnight?

Yes, they get nice and crunchy. Make sure to dry the chick peas as much as you can and let them air dry on a clean dish towel or paper towels for an hour or 2 if you have the time. Toss them in evoo bake at 400 20-30 minutes or until crispy then toss with whatever spices you like.

I'm working on a way to show her how the earth is round and casts a shadow over the moon right now. I think that's going to be my mom project for the weekend. She keeps talking about how the moon is broken whenever it's a crescent moon, and I've shown her in books but she still isn't getting that the sun doesn't disappear and the moon isn't broken. Maybe it's beyond her understanding right now, but I'm at least going to try showing her with maybe a ball and a flashlight.

Age has nothing to do with it. I don't understand it either.

Accidents shake you up.

And you're even more shaken up the day afterwards, and feel any pain even more than the first day. Within 24 hours your muscles start to relax (they tighten up in an impact, as a defense mechanism), but once you start to loosen up, you'll be in more pain.
