Happy birthday to "Jack the Absconder"...!!!!!!! :joyfull:

Hey, wait... :cyclops: that makes him and myself seem pretty similar, even if his absconding doesn't have to do with NOT attending office luncheons...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:

And, of course, happy birthday to your bro, Jack, as well...!!!!! :joyfull:

Happy Birthday to both. Kapono says "Woof BarK Jack!" apparently that is Happy Birthday in canine.:)

Thank you all for birthday wishes to Jack. In dog years, he's 9 years old--but according to the conversion chart, he's actually 60 years old. :jawdrop: So my question is this: If he's 60, when the heck is he ever going to grow up and act like a mature dog?

Oh, by the way, he got bacon on his birthday! :hungry:

So you can feel my pain! Sorry you went through that. I ordered one from Macy’s online, the arms were too short. I ordered another one from Nordstrom, way too big.
I bought one in store at Kohls today, too short. I should bring the jacket with us to try on together

To fit his weight correctly he needs an 8, but to fit his length correctly then he needs In Between an 8 and 10. He’s exactly 54”. 8 ends at 53”.. 10 starts at 54 and goes to 57 on a lot of these brands.. fine for tee shirts, schools uniforms, etc.. but not for a properly fitting suit!
He’s a tall stick person. ;) Chest, waist, hip measurements are about a size 7. :hilarious:

Basically, if it was just the height issue then it would be an easy tailor job.. but with the bigger size also comes wider fits on him, which takes too long to fix and too much more than I was willing to spend. At this point I probably would have thrown in the towel and paid for the correct adjustments, but now it’s too late.
At this point if you can get a white one that fits maybe you should just dye one. I'd just go a size up and make a few darts in it.

Speaking of Jack and Jack, one year for Christmas, I bought a plaid fleece bathrobe for my bro, Jack. Then, I found the exact same plaid design on a dog fleece jacket, for dog, Jack! They both looked like twins on Christmas with the matching clothing! :hilarious: :hilarious:

I told my bro, it was the ultimate compliment to wear the same design as his namesake! :p :joyfull:

Aw.....I feel her pain. I'm surprised they had a school trip on a Sunday! I don't think that was allowed when I was in school. But now I think about it, maybe you could travel on a Sunday, but they couldn't have the event on a Sunday? But I always hated those late nights. I remember getting back from a cheerleading thing at 2:00 am once. How old is your daughter? Do they let the kids into the school to call parents to pick them up or do you have to wait at the school all night for the bus to arrive?
My daughter is 16. I normally wake her at 5:35AM on a school morning. This morning I got her up at 6:02AM. A LITTLE extra sleep....not as much extra as anyone would prefer....but something. She's getting ready for school as I type this.
My school district does not restrict Sunday activities for HS. If the staff members are willing and interested to be with students on a Sunday for drama...or band....or sports....then they have the green light to do so.
Re. the bus question.....the charter bus left Thurs. morning at 8:10AM and then returned the kids to us when it arrived at the HS this early morning at half past midnight. Parents were waiting in the parking lot and relieved to finally see the bus pull in.
