My two dogs got into a fight. Like a real fight. This has literally never happened before. So the little nervous one got scared and left a trail of pee through the whole living room and now i have to explain the wet carpet to the babysitter :cry::hilarious::hilarious:

It's like the dogs know when they'll be the biggest inconvenience/embarrassment and that's when they pull this sort of stuff.
Isn’t that how it always is. If it isn’t a kid disaster, it is a pet disaster. Hope everything normalized.

Hooray for T! Sounds like a jack-of-all-sports. No wonder it is hard to choose one thing. He seems very talented.
Except football :hilarious:

He’d probably be much better now, especially because he was on the shorter end of the spectrum when he played in K, and now he’s one of the tallest in his class. But, as much as I LOVE football, I’m not encouraging him to play.. actually contributed to talking him out of it for next Fall. He’s just not the aggressive tackle kind of kid, and I think he’d spend most of the time sitting on the bench...which would in turn cause him not to enjoy it. It’s too late for him to be a QB or receiver now.

Soccer, baseball, and golf he’s shown great talent. He was good in basketball this year (first time he played) and we’ll see how that goes next year when it starts at school.
I know that he wants to play lacrosse eventually.. So, I think that’s all our schedules can handle!

We should both stop that. Doctor Google only ever gives you bad news and anxiety. Stub your toe? You're dying of Ebola. Trip over a bookcase? You caught the Plague....

Yep, I first did that back about twenty years ago and should have been long-dead by now, according to what I found on the interwebs...:cyclops:
Stopped doin' that pretty quickly...!!!!!!! :hilarious:

What's so hard to get about no driving, biking or walking while texting? Sheesh it could wait a few minutes or if need be just pull over and stop!
Exactly! I think it's bad enough when you're on the phone talking so you don't have both hands free. Well, not so much with walking, because you don't need hands for that, but if you need hands to steer, your phone shouldn't be in one of those hands! But then when you can't even look where you're going because you are looking at your phone, that's just completely unacceptable, but it happens all the time. DS has no filter and will say to me "Mommy, that guy is on his phone and you're not supposed to do that!!" really loudly. He doesn't realize you shouldn't say those things so the person can hear, but it's kind of funny when it's about the phones. Not so much when it's something else he points out, but when it's about someone breaking rules, I figure they've earned the censure.

Yesterday, DH had an Ingress thing in Eindhoven, so DD and I went shopping there while he played, and we left DS at Oma and Opa's because he didn't want to go. So they have a Primark there, and we hit the jackpot. Spent 109 Euros, and we got a ton of clothes, some pins, a Ravenclaw baseball cap for DS, and some earrings and chokers (Harry Potter). They have LOTS of Disney and Harry Potter stuff.

We didn't find a Beauty and the Beast shirt to go with the Chip shorts, and we only got one pair of Stitch shorts, even though we got 2 tshirts. I think shopping for our Orlando trip next summer is going to be a breeze!!

Cats too.
Exhibit A: Jasmine knocking over a plant while we were on vacation...
I had a peace plant that was just gorgeous. Our cats became obsessed with it. They would constantly jump on it and then it would fall down out of the pot. No matter how I tried to protect it I just couldn't get them to stop trying to get to it. It never really fully recovered after the first bad fall. I eventually gave up on it about a month ago. Darn cats.
