Here’s the response to my “will any of these games be rescheduled” email-

Doesn’t sound too promising, but there’s a glimmer of hope, maybe..right?

T is SO BUMMED. So am I. :( It’s one thing to give up all of our outings/out of town weekends for sports.. it’s another to give them up and not even play the scheduled sport!!! I know it’s not their fault.. but it’s just so disappointing!!!!!!

That bites.
Another belated sympathy like.

It’s 9:27pm and we’re not even close to having this first communion banner completed. Gonna be a long night. If only I could have 3 more hours in a day!

T has gone to bed. I can’t keep him up any later. He made me promise not to glue anything until the morning, but I’m in charge of cutting out our leaves and vines..and rearranging the grapes to face the opposite direction.
Have I mentioned that I can’t draw? Or cut a straight line?

His bread will probably look better than my leaves.lol. I need to channel the art skills of dryerlintfan right now... ;)

HAH!

Your comment reminded me of the first time ever I got into a theme park to ride ALL the coasters.
I ended with pain in the first 4 days in muscles I had no idea I had. And also light vertigo for 2 weeks (feeling like I was in a coster with uneasy movement when I was in my bed).

Sympathy like.
I can honestly say I've never had anything like that happen to me, even on many rides of M:S orange, and other crazy thrill rides. But, I'm no youngin' anymore, so I'm pretty sure that will change at some point, in the not-too-distant future...hopefully not too soon though, I still really loves me some 0-60 in 2.8 second launches, inversions, drops, centrifuges, etc.,!!!!!!! :joyfull:

@donaldtoo Happy Belated to your mom! She looked quite lovely in the picture you posted. Very classy looking lady. :)

Thank you so very much!!! :)
She is indeed a lovely, classy lady!!!
She is just down to earth, loving, caring, has so many friends and family that love her, silly-funny, etc., and I could have never had a better mom...definitely salt of the earth!!!!!!!

You see, this is the thing: he's a kid. It often doesn't take much to make them happy. A tasty burger or pizza to him, is like a tasty filet mignon to us.

And that photo you shared of him yesterday, with the big smile while he was opening his birthday present--that said it all right there. His expression was so sweet; I really liked that picture.

Sounds to me like he had a blast on his birthday. And his friends liked the cookies!
Does not apply to my boys:banghead: James at the ripe old age of 5 would go to a restaurant and explain how he like his steaks rare:hungover: My older ds and dh like their meat more than just walked through a hot kitchen:hungover::banghead:

Next trip to Florida you really should head over to Kennedy. History and getting the heck spun out of you:joyfull: Maybe look into a cruise out of Cape Canaveral and do a few days in the area before or after the cruise. UNI is a little over a half hour drive and the family suites there will start at 110 a night when they open next summer. Citywalk maybe or maybe not some park time, beach, Kennedy. 2 vacations in one:joyfull:

Come here little groundhog:angelic::angelic::angelic: 31 with a real feel of 18. I wouldn't mind as much if I didn't need to go out today to get some errands run. When I get home I'm going to spend some time with Adrienne or Shiva Rea for the protection of everybody within a 50 mile radius.
This weather can definitely not be good for the farmers right now. A later planting season maybe. The daffodils all seemed to come up a month later. Our apple trees are only starting to flower.

Good morning forum friends!
I have not been posting on this thread much recently. Sorry. My school and family life has been busy.
My daughter is performing in her High School's Spring Musical Drama tonight, Sat. & Sunday.
Professionally, my school band has 3 Spring Concert performances next school week. One on Tues. and two on Wed.
I hope all of you are well.
:)
