Oh no, rushed home.. changed into cub shirt, and went. I’m so tired. T had fun though!
I had an apple moonshine ginger ale. Never had one before, it was delish..especially for a sporting event drink.



Our river is flooded again. I wish this rain would STOP!!!

So Belle decided tonight to lay on my dad's lap. Which is a HUGE deal. We think before she came to us that she was abused by a man because she's always been fine around women, but mostly distrustful of men, minus my dad's severely depressed friend, who we think she tries to comfort, and my step grandpa when he was really sick before he died. And of course, the man who claims he never liked her of course was petting her. Then when he had to go to the bathroom, did he shove her off? Nope. He had my mom gently pick her up. Doesn't like cats. Uh huh.

We think Belle is laying claim to all the humans now that Jasmine's around.

Look close near the top middle...the white one is a rare albino Bluebonnet.

Then it was belated b-day pizza dinner time for SonIL...!!!!!

Oldest DD and myself split a vegan pizza, and it was really good (second time I've had it there), and she took home 3 of the 8 slices...said she would probably down them around 11:30 tonight...the whole eating for 2 thing, and all...!!!!!



The rest had The Detroiter, another favorite...



Tried to get a good shot of the moon over the downtown Austin skyline crossing Lady Bird Lake on our way back up north, but this is the best I got...



It was a great day...!!!!!!!

OK gang, gonna' hit it for now...gotta' be up early enough to get a seat at 10:30a Easter mass. There are 8:30, 10:30, and 12:30
Masses, held in 3 different venues at the same time...the main sanctuary, Brennan Hall, and the Parish Activity Center...so 9 masses in all, and they are packed...!

I've kind of gotten used to reading dates that way because of working for a global company. People outside of the US send you dates in that format. That's not how my brain defaults the dates, though.

Well, the entire world uses the ISO format for dates.

Computers, databases, etc.. uses that form as well. (year, month, day, hour, minute, second format)

Can we cancel Monday also? I woke up to see a weather alert. A prediction of 3-6 inches of snow for Monday that was not there at all last week or yesterday!

So for our upcoming trip we have decided to eat some meals outside the parks. We have chosen 3 places that we don't have near us. One of the ones was thanks to @Goofyernmost , Sweet Tomatoes. I was always curious about it. After he mentioned it yesterday I checked out the menu. I didn't know it was a buffet and had loads of vegetarian stuff. It also scored high on Trip Advisor. The second is one a bunch of my chit chat friends have talked up and that is Chuy's. The nearest one to us is outside DC and we have no plans to head that way. We will be in Baltimore this coming weekend, but heading to where that is from the Inner Harbor makes no sense. The 3rd place is Bahama Breeze. It has been many years since we have been. I wish we had one here because I could so use the tropical atmosphere. So anyone want to critique these choices or are they good ones?

If you're going to the outlet at the north end of I-4 you may want to check out Antojito's at City Walk parking is free after either 4 or 6. Remind me to check when your trip gets closer. Another place up at that end is PF Chang's yes it's chain but they have quite a few veggie options and they will check the ingredients for you.
