I'll ask my DS the next time I talk to him if anyone was ever on their own. Disney has so many more CPs now than when he was in the program that they are actually squishing 3 and 4 people in their large units. My guess is they are likely building more, they did prior when they pulled the International CPs out of the old Treehouses.

Though it is much tougher to get in, you might apply for a professional internship. You can rent an apartment and stay off property on your own. Those are tough positions to get though.
The plan was to do the CP first and then try for a professional internship. But if they can't make the housing happen, I won't do the program. Plain and simple. Considering that two weeks ago a 911 situation arose because of perfume, I think it's a valid concern. My doctor told me when I was applying for college that he wanted me to live by myself if I lived on campus. I can't imagine that his opinion has changed. He'll write me a letter if need be.

Question.

Company (contractor for the military) in the middle of January interviewed me on the phone (those typical 15 minutes phone interviews). Today background/security check from the military cleared. Should I be worried about getting a job with no in person interview?

Companies been around since 83.

My Mustang was quick. My DS Cutlass Supreme was quick, he was equally as sad when she passed. The odd car that I had at one time was my Mommy Car, 4 door sedan to hold 2 carseats, it was a 4 door Buick Century with a 6 cylinder engine and that car was fast, comfortable and had amazing pickup. Never had a problem with that car beyond any normal maintenance. It never even rusted and I had her about 150,000 over 10 years.

Then my DH had the car one day, I borrowed his Towncar 'cause I was picking up my DD girlfriend that was wheelchair bound....while he was driving my car her blew the engine, cracked the block. Enter my Pickup truck.
That was a sad wake when the Pickup left me too.

My first car was a '71 Cutlass with a Rocket 350 (5.7 liter) V-8. Although, it only had the 2 bbl carburetor, it was still plenty quick enough.
My folks bought a brand new 4-door, '86 Olds Delta 88. That thing had a 3.8 liter V-6 in it, and it flat out flew off the line. Quite the surprise, especially at that time. Pop had to take it in for work at one point and the mechanic looked the motor up in the book. Turns out it was a rare high output motor...!!! :joyfull:
Folks gave it to us at one point and I drove it for about a year before I sold it.
Had a LOT of fun takin' people out of lights (occasionally, and with just me in the car) who were drivin' what should have been much quicker cars...! :)

My Aurora was a V8, as in 8 cylinder engine. I named it The Jackrabbit. It was also nicknamed The Old Man. How to become attached to your car: Name it.

My Bravada (which still needs a name) has a 6 cylinder, but is so heavy that the pickup is horrible. The Lacrosse is a 6 cylinder. So not like The Jackrabbit, but still pretty good pickup. I'm sure the Bravada will get a name once I get to know it a little bit better.

Still plenty of 4-cylinder engines out there that can take 8's.
All depends on how there outfitted and tuned. ;) :)

It was an Oldsmobile. They stopped making them in 2004. Mine was the second to last of the models. They are very similar to the GMC Envoy. My bestie has an Envoy from 2004, and the interiors are almost identical.

Now I will close my laptop and go to sleep. Good night.

Yep, car companies have been doin' that for decades.
At one time, the Chevy Chevelle/Malibu, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Le Mans, and Buick Regal all shared the same chassis with same-shaped, differently detailed bodies.

And, I was sad to see Olds go.
