What's with all this salted craze the past few years? I recall at Christmas, one of the nurses brought in a high-end candy company's chocolates--salted. Bluck . . .

Chocolate is food from heaven; no salt needed. ;)
Agreed however salt brings out the flavor or caramel. But if there is no salt around I will still eat it! I'm not picky when it comes to chocolate or caramel.

And it folds out into a coffee table.

You know how you want people to help you. So I wrote this..If you can help in any way, that would be brilliant...and my sister was like never do that, people will have no clue what you're talking about. She changed it to the boring...If you can help in any way, I would appreciate it.

I think I might have to try to be more American.
Just be you and if no one likes it too bad. As long as you don't hurt others, you should have the freedom to express yourself anyway that tickles your fancy just be prepared to deal with the consequences.

The engine.

It's not that it can't be repaired, it would just be an expensive repair.

Between the wobbly mirror that my parents were afraid would fall off when I was driving, the oil leak, the bad sensor that told you "Low Engine Coolant" when there really was none, the leaky sun roof, the broken heated seat, the dents, the corrosion on the tire rim, and the new set of tires that the car will need in six months, it needs a lot of work to get it in working order. The value of the car was only about $1000. Not worth it for us.

I just hope that the car gets auctioned off to someone who collects cars and repairs them, and that someone will take care of it and love it as much as I did.
seems like the car was falling apart.

I'm using rental skates. They're free.

Some of them are okay, and some of them...ugh. The pair I wore Monday hurt really badly. That was a pain because I got one pair, got onto the ice and figured out my left blade was slipping, and when I showed the Assistant Coach, she said to go trade them in. Then I got another pair. The blades weren't as bad, but they hurt pretty badly. I was sore. Today, the laces were weird. The right skate had laces that were almost too short, and the left skate had insanely long laces. Right skate was fine. I was far better once I adjusted the left skate. I was thinking about getting my own skates, but I haven't found a store that carries them down here, I could get them online but am unsure about the size (I wear an 8 in the rental skates, but who knows), and I only have a few weeks left, and while I plan on keeping up with the skating, not sure how much I'm going to do it. Might see if my bestie wants to go; she seems like the friend who would be willing.

My socks are only ankle socks, but seem to work well. They are the good ones from Di ck's Sporting Goods that I also wear around Disney. Past two trips I have been blister-free in sneakers and these socks. I have a hard time finding socks that don't drive me bonkers.

I think I need to take Tylenol before I skate too. I had to take Excedrin Migraine this morning, and I ended up less sore today than I have in a while. If it helps, it's worth it.
second on the socks.. confy ones are soooo hard to find :(

So nice for traveling, though.

My parents hadn't bought a new car in 9 years, so I guess since it had been a while, they had planned for it. But the price was the reason I wasn't allowed to drive it. Now, after 3 years of being licensed and the car not being brand new anymore, they're more willing.

I went from cars to a pick up to a SUV. All I can say is I quickly got use to it being short. It was nice having the height to see things I couldn't see from a car level that taller people can see. I like having more car around me too though I agree SUV gas mileage real is awful. When I drive my DD car I feel like a Munchkin now. She likes driving my SUV now and plans on buying a Subaru Forester that she is saving for. Much has to do with size, travel, hauling stuff but
the 4x4 for our snow here.

So I was on the phone and logged on as soon as reservations were open for Be Our Guest and the line was continuously busy or disconnected me and I could get anything online until 9 mountain time. I got three 1 person reservations for lunch so we each go in and eat alone. I figured it's like single rider dining.

Yeah I am not in your camp, I think it cheapens the look and resembles a putt putt course verses a courtyard to the castle. I'm not one to find any magic or creativity in AstroTurf. I have a neighbor who has large maple trees and it is difficult to grow grass beneath. His lawn is AstroTurf. Not pretty but it doesn't need to be mowed, fertilized or watered. Horrid when leaves and stuff start getting stuck in it.
the guys at Disney will probably vacuum or just.. outright change he turf.

Need is a funny thing. As I read a debate a few days ago if a vacation is a need or a want, it is different for everyone. Merging on expressways here is difficult, pickup and speed certainly helps.
I agree with you on that, I really dont care much about cars.. but computers....
people always get amazed by my system.. yet I always feel something will fail soon and need to replace. (which will happen soon again, since my 2 of my hard disks have bad blocks)
