I did! I didn't realize that disney bounding was a "thing" when I made my name... like,... I thought it was just saying "hey I'm going to Disney!!". I learned from these boards though that there's a Disney bounding movement, and there's a LOT of animosity around it. Add in the out of date year, and it just seemed better to change it.

When I made it, I didn't think I'd be sticking around the forums after our trip. Or that I might plan another trip. I was wrong on both counts :inlove:
Ha!! We sucked you into our crazy little world. :hilarious::joyfull:As if we had any doubt. ;):)

Used the dining plan this past October and came out quite well in front on what cash would have cost.
It always depends on what kind of eating you do imho.

If you drink, if you get always all the 3 dishes types (including dessert)

For those who eat little (like my mother or sister). They will end losing money as they usually only eat an appetizer and main course, or main course and dessert and nothing else.

so yeah, calculator ahoy!

Definitely agree that its harder to see silver cars on the road. Don't go blue, either. My blue car has hit over a dozen birds. One was a pigeon who flew right into my windshield. I don't know if I'm cursed.... but I tend to think they mistake my car for part of the sky or a body of water.
Add white to that.
My mom only has had her car for 2 days and she has been hit TWICE.

One by an idiotic teenager who had no business driving a huge pick up (tboned my mom after he somehow lost control and rammed my mother sideways as she drove on a 4 lane road (2/2 road). Good thing they were both going very slow (the kid was just tarting to to speed up, which makes me wonder if he was high..)

The other.. a b***rd bus driver (very usual to see drivers being scum, untrained, rude, dirty, racing to get as many people as possible on their buses in falling apart buses). hit my mom in the back during a stoplight. My mom was baffled and the driver escaped.

Hang on.. what?

You got called or attacked because of the nickname you used?

No, not me personally, but when they released the new clothing line of dresses, there were a few threads that made it pretty clear how most of the forum feels about disney bounding. On the bright side, all those "dress like Ariel" posts on Pinterest make sense to me now :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

My car was an igloo this morning. I went out, turned it on which usually would have melted the ice...nope, had to scrape. My mom ended up helping with my back windshield because it was so bad. There was so much ice on one mirror that it refused to come off. I ended up leaving it. Drove to work with it iced over. Hopefully it melted since it is now in the 40s.

I hate winter.

Also, my next car will have remote start and heated mirrors.

We're all just so irresistable you couldn't stay away. :P But in all seriousness, I'm glad you had a good enough time that you are considering going back...it would have been a disappointment after all the research and planning if you had hated it and vowed never to return.

That's okay; you learn things very quickly on this board. Although I had no idea there was such hatred for Disney bounding. I can't say I'm a fan, but I don't care if others do it

I used to be StarWarsGirl95 adding the year I was born, but learned people would often say, "Oh, you're so young; your opinion isn't valid" so I took off the 95 to get rid of the automatic judgements. The entra two seconds it takes them to look at my profile to see my age made a huge difference.

^^^^This. And also, if you are a person who can eat steak every night, it might be worth it, because it's really expensive. But for my DD and I who can easily share a main, or you just want an appetizer, it wouldn't be a good value to pay for it. I noticed on our last trip, we had a lot of credits over. For one, DS is so picky...he ate at the buffets...nothing but fries and desserts, but he was able to find things to eat. But in most places, he wouldn't eat what was on the menu, so we had a couple of table service credits left over from him not eating, and then a WHOLE bunch of snack credits, because we just didn't need that much food. DD could have easily shared at pretty much every place we went to, but we each got our own just to use the credits. Maybe we should share and just go to a few extra TS restaurants. I don't know...but we certainly wouldn't have gotten our money out of it if we had paid for the plan. I will say, I like the convenience..,not having to think about how much you're spending, not having to stick to a set budget...that was nice. And I love the magic band so I didn't have to carry cash with me, but that would have been true if we had been paying out of pocket, too...we'd just attach a credit card. But I really think it depends on WHERE you eat and WHAT you eat.

This had me rolling. Funniest thing I've seen in a while! All you who are tired of the ice and snow, watch this!

OMG!! That last one, at like...1:10...that cracked me up!!

Wow...I had no idea! I thought most people were pretty positive about the whole Bounding thing. I've never heard a nasty comment about it, but then I don't venture too far from here or the TRs...maybe I'm just not active in the places where they are negative about it.

@Cesar R M how are you doing with your glasses? I just picked up mine and trying to get used to them.
Wait, classes?

You mean my glasses?

And I'm doing a bit better now, very little nausea now.

The best way to prevent that is not moving my head too much AND closing my eyes when putting and removing them. So I dont see the "deformation" that the lenses make when extending them.
