I did! I didn't realize that disney bounding was a "thing" when I made my name... like,... I thought it was just saying "hey I'm going to Disney!!". I learned from these boards though that there's a Disney bounding movement, and there's a LOT of animosity around it. Add in the out of date year, and it just seemed better to change it.

When I made it, I didn't think I'd be sticking around the forums after our trip. Or that I might plan another trip. I was wrong on both counts :inlove:

I am having a bit of a bad day.
First I called to make an appointment at the dentist for next month only to be told that my young cute Irish dentist is no longer with the practice so I will have a different dentist this time. I don't like going to the dentist AT ALL, but Connor and his lovely Irish accent made it less bad.
Then I called my insurance company to inquire about my claim. The nice lady on the phone told me both claims have been denied since unnecessary force was used to break the door. She said I should persu a claim with the management company, the same company that told me to claim on the insurance. Wasted over 40 minutes on this call and stress ate a bag of chocolate peanuts.:(
I contacted the management company again who informed that they are no longer responsible for my building since the council took back control so I should take it up with them.
I emailed the council but I am not holding my breath I will ever get compensated.

Would it be bad if I contacted the Grenfell Tower support team to see if they sound help with getting my claim resolved? I am listed as a victim of the fire (the council determined that, I didn't sign up for it) and I keep getting news letters saying they are there to help etc. So far I haven't accepted any help or support as I feel I should take care of myself and not be a drain on resources but I am so frustrated with this situation. It is hard enough living right next to that carcass of a building, being reminded every day of what happened, without getting the run around from everyone.

Sympathy like :inlove::inlove: I hope everything works out with your claim. Sorry to hear about your dentist. Can you find the practice he went to and transfer with him?

Go with silver. Easiest to keep clean by a mile. The worst 2 colours are black or white. They show up ALL the dirt.
I'm not getting white for that reason. But my current car is silver, and I've been hit three separate times in it. Maybe I'm nuts, but I swear it's because it's silver. So no more silver.

I'm looking at a red Malibu tomorrow. I like red.

Sometimes you have to put your needs into your focus. You need this claim resolved. You need to be able to put the fire behind you. If they can help with that, call them. Because the runaround everyone else is giving you is unacceptable. Your quality of life is taking a hit, and that's not okay.

Definitely agree that its harder to see silver cars on the road. Don't go blue, either. My blue car has hit over a dozen birds. One was a pigeon who flew right into my windshield. I don't know if I'm cursed.... but I tend to think they mistake my car for part of the sky or a body of water.

I've heard that you can get any drink below $24, so if I were on the DDP, I'd probably go with the most expensive drink I could find that qualified. Because A) when am I ever going to go to a restaurant and order a $23 glass of wine, and 2) I'd be too competitive about the DDP trying to "maximize" my credits.
I still find sad that with the introduction of DDP, you will need to have an abacus or calculator with you all the time. Just to know you're not wasting your time.
