I am the only one that doesn't eat meat from our family of 6. You cannot talk about pork around dd10 though. Those are her favorite animals. She only eats chicken or turkey.

That's the way it should be!! I wish that was a legitimate option here, but it's hard enough just getting farm fresh eggs.

You can also use western ribs (they're boneless) but if you haven't found the others they may not have those either.I can't find pork butt either.
How does your husband shop for meat?

@wdwmagic, I did notice that if I have the forum page open and also have other pages on my browser open, I do not see the little alert icon in the tab that used to let me know there were new alerts. Now I have to physically click back to the thread tab and click on alerts to see if there are new ones. Would love to have the likes and message numbers back with the avatars. But again, thanks for all your hard work.

We were supposed to get some icy roads this morning. All schools are closed. No, not a thing happened.Yup the roads are brined. We're sitting once again on the line that may get snow &/or mix or maybe nothing
They brined all our roads yesterday too. It's 45.

We buy a steer or hog at the county fair 4-H sale and then send it to the butcher for processing. That's about the same as picking it off the farm.
Watched it yesterday. There must have been dust in the cinema towards the end ...Going to go see Coco tonight, I'm looking forward to it.

We have an all organic farm not far from us that sells eggs. I've only been a few times to buy sweet corn in the summer but it's owned by the cutest older hippie couple.
The "chicken coop" is an old converted school bus.

People change plans, cancel appointments, close schools based on forecasts.We were supposed to get some icy roads this morning. All schools are closed. No, not a thing happened.
It was supposed to be icing now here with a temperature of 33 degrees. It is 26 and already after 1. It is not going to get much warmer. Weather people need to do a better job.

Yup, we're getting the freezing rain stuff here. My supervisor and my boss didn't even bother coming in. I drove home in the beginings of it. The rain was hitting my windshield and starting to turn to ice on impact. It was not a fun drive.People change plans, cancel appointments, close schools based on forecasts.

We all have the option to work from home as needed, though we're all in the office most days of the week. Most of my team is remote on Fridays.
Across the IT organization...not sure. We have a few people who are mostly remote. I know of at least one project manager who doesn't live anywhere near an office, so he's remote and flies into the Maryland office as needed.
