Having TVs in restaurants is rather foreign to me, I think it is an American thing. European culture to eating out is different from the US as in going out to eat is a social event where you take your time. An average dinner out takes about 2 hours and is the main event of the evening.
Same.. only restaurants that have TVS over here in Mexico are the sportbars like Outback (which are pretty much American style restaurants).
Hooters do that too.

All normal restaurants do not have tvs unless its a big event(like elections or world cup)

Can’t like that. You would think he would have gotten you a replacement.
:hilarious: No. :bored: I got a wrecked car, cancelled insurance policy on it, and a huge mess. Long story, not short. He hit one of my former employees right by my work. Since they knew each other they didn't call police to file a report but drove the short distance and parked in my work's back parking lot to exchange insurance info. Her car had a broken headlight, blown tire and broken side mirror. The cavalier had total front end damage--broken headlights, bent tire rims, door and hood wouldn't open, a mess. Her car, because of the age, was declared a total loss. :grumpy: The cavalier wasn't.

It gets better. :cautious: The reason they didn't call the police was because he knew he was DUI and she suspected it and didn't want him to go to jail. And since her car wasn't that bad he claimed responsibility for the accident to both insurance companies in return for not calling police. Because her car was declared "a total loss" our insurance paid for her loss, towing for both cars and nothing on our car and then dropped the policy. Eventually I found out he had multiple speeding tickets and another fender bender he "forgot" to mention.

It gets even better. :cautious: Four hours LATER, when I'm about to leave for the day, he calls to tell me he had been in an accident and the car was outside in the parking lot. He had a buddy drive him home instead of coming right inside to tell me so he could sleep off some of his drink. I got a big $200 at the scrapyard for the cavalier. :grumpy:

Well, I can see why he is your ex. :rolleyes:He really probably messed with your ability to get cheap insurance as well. :cautious: Do you have a smartphone? You can use that instead of a tablet. Plans have gotten cheaper with the pay as you go.

As I told Donald earlier, long story, short, yes but worked out in divorce decisions, the ex pays for phone. Whatever his plan is, he has multiple family members on it and we all have to share the little bit of web. I'm not getting another phone because I have one. I'm not a phone talker at all.

All the talk of donuts made me hungry for something sweet this morning. I found a recipe for streussel cinnamon muffins. They are vegan and oil free @figmentfan423 There is spelt flour and blanched almond flour in the recipe. I used all purpose as I don’t have spelt. I do have the almond. I am sure you can sub gluten free for the spelt.
View attachment 254941They were truly yummy.:hungry: I made 12 and we just have 5 left. My kids don’t eat like your ravenous boys, thank goodness. ;)
Bob's Red Mill GF works very well. They look yummy
