Sympathy like, my friend.
MOXO, I REALLY need your sunset pics and countdown posts...!!!!!!!!
Sorry bro. Not liking not posting them. It's frustrating. I miss being able to get everything done daily in about ten minutes. This afternoon gave me a migraine. I'll have to bite the bullet and get a new tablet but long story short, my ex pays for phone/internet and so right now I'm screwed on updating anything. I'm a member of a non-Disney animation site and have zero issues. :(
Sympathy like.
I will truly miss your posts 'til it all gets sorted.
Until then, I will go back to your other beautiful pic posts and countdowns...!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope all this gets fixed for you. Your countdowns, in particular, are so much fun. How else would I know when National Winnie the Pooh Day is celebrated?! We need this to get fixed ASAP. Call out the National Guard--whatever it takes!!!! :arghh:

Oh dear. Not fun. Never had that happen.

The only time Jack bit, was 2 years ago at Christmas, he somehow got ahold of a tiny Christmas tree bulb (it was a decoration on a wrapped package--it was maybe 1/3 inch wide). He started to choke and hubs ran over and tried to pull it out of his mouth--mistake, but the dog was choking. Out of fear and dog confusion, Jack bit hubs' hand. Luckily the wound didn't go in deep, and hubs somehow managed to get the bulb out of his throat, before he swallowed it down further--which would have cut off his oxygen. Both hubs and Jack survived, but it was a very stressful situation all around.
Oh gosh! What a stressful moment that must have been. Glad everyone was fine in the end.

In case I'm not driving everyone crazy enough with this topic...

Has anyone had any experience with Chevys?

I'm thinking I might be going that direction. My dad, at first, was very much on the path of "Oh, just pay $1500 and repair your car" until my mom and I remembered that there is a another repair that is needed before it goes through emissions testing again; otherwise, the car will fair the emissions testing, and that repair will cost $1100. So the car needs $2600 worth of repairs and is worth, at most, $1300, which I told my dad is not worth the investment. He is now more on board with me getting a new car. So much, in fact, that he is willing to give me the points on their GM credit card, which amounts to $3200. Since they aren't planning on replacing their cars for another 4-5 years.

BUT...I told him flat out that if I get a GM car, it will most likely be a Chevy, since they seem to have more features at a lower cost, and I'm looking at midsize sedans, and the Chevy Malibu gets better reviews than the Buick Regal.

I'm curious though; I've heard good things about Hyundais, Toyotas...any experiences with Chevys?

We have a used car (bought it maybe 2 1/2 years ago). It's a 2007 Chevy Aveo and we had beaucoup problems with the electronic alarm system. The technicians at Chevy dealership could not figure out the issue. It took many, many hours from hubs, himself, tracing all the electrical lines, etc. He finally came up with an interim solution, but we had spent hundreds of dollar from techs who knew nothing. NOT a fan of Chevy and cannot recommend to anyone. Prior to current car, we had a Ford, and it was excellent--lasted 14 years.

P.S.: Wanted to add here that the alarm thing was bad because it would just go OFF at random times and the lights would flash, etc.--when we had NOT touched it. Really bad . . .

@StarWarsGirl I have never owned a car as work usually provides one. I have only driven a Chevy ones, it was a rental in the US and we had to return it after 3 days because of electrical issues. If I had to buy a car I would go for a Kia or Toyota. I have driven both extensively and was very pleased with them. No mechanical problems and super comfortable to drive.

No donut for Kapono this morning then. :( (I do hope your boo boo wasn't deep. Sorry to hear about this.)

I read your post too late, I should have punished her with no donut today but nope she got her donut today. But I was smart enough not to set it down unattended! I bought a box of plain donut holes for her yesterday, they were only $2. Most of them will go in the freezer, she usually only gets them on weekends. Plus how could I resist this face?

My bite from her was basically a nip. She does that sometimes when she gets super excited, usually when we haven't taken a walk, had outside time, or a ride in awhile. She sometimes will nip me in the thigh/behind if I'm moving too slow.

Minus 4 here this morning at 5 AM. ;)

It was 14 today when I took hubs to work. It felt so warm! I didn't even wear my gloves!

The new Ale House was fun. Fun especially since this Ale house had wine.

The Sports TVs were a hoot. When the station had that 2 second pause it was similar to a power outage in the restaurant. The entire restaraunt was wall to wall TVs with Football.

Looks good. Especially the burger and mojito.:hungry:

@ajrwdwgirl and @DisneyBound2017 I am sorry about your dog bites. I guess they get overexcited like children...

Thanks, my hand is fine, she didn't break the skin. I actually had more injury making spaghetti sauce yesterday, it was bubbling and a big gob bubbled up and landed on my hand and oh boy did it burn! It happened twice but at least the sauce turned out good. And yes, my dog is sometimes like an overexcited child, but I still love her!

Thank you both for the input. The electrical issue down the road has made me wary as both my original Oldsmobile and my current one had that issue. Not to the extent that Minnie's did, but they've had that issue. That being said, I'm buying new, including newest model year, so hopefully that issue will have been corrected, and it will still be under warrenty if it does pop up within the first few years. It's just very hard to pass up $3200 in free money.

Not looking at Kias. My cousin had one and it didn't last her five years. Looking primarily at Toyotas, Hyundais, and Chevys.

All the talk of donuts made me hungry for something sweet this morning. I found a recipe for streussel cinnamon muffins. They are vegan and oil free @figmentfan423 There is spelt flour and blanched almond flour in the recipe. I used all purpose as I don’t have spelt. I do have the almond. I am sure you can sub gluten free for the spelt.

I bought a 2010 Honda in Dec 2009 - I have 125,000 miles on it. So it's been good.
