Ouch! :( Did the Pup break the skin or will you get a purple bruise instead. Bet the Pup felt bad too they tend to know when they hit skin. Be well.

She broke skin. And she was really distraught over it. She followed me into the bathroom so I could clean it and put a bandaid on it, then refused to play with me again and tried to crawl into my lap and lick the bandaid. Poor thing.

Has anyone had any experience with Chevys?

I'm thinking I might be going that direction. My dad, at first, was very much on the path of "Oh, just pay $1500 and repair your car" until my mom and I remembered that there is a another repair that is needed before it goes through emissions testing again; otherwise, the car will fair the emissions testing, and that repair will cost $1100. So the car needs $2600 worth of repairs and is worth, at most, $1300, which I told my dad is not worth the investment. He is now more on board with me getting a new car. So much, in fact, that he is willing to give me the points on their GM credit card, which amounts to $3200. Since they aren't planning on replacing their cars for another 4-5 years.

BUT...I told him flat out that if I get a GM car, it will most likely be a Chevy, since they seem to have more features at a lower cost, and I'm looking at midsize sedans, and the Chevy Malibu gets better reviews than the Buick Regal.

I'm curious though; I've heard good things about Hyundais, Toyotas...any experiences with Chevys?

I had a Chevy Malibu a decade ago and I loved that car so so much. My ex husband made me trade it in for a Lexus because it was a better status symbol but I missed my Malibu every time I drove the Lexus

I have an equinox and love it. Hubs has had a Malibu and currently has a Cruze. He loved the Malibu and I liked it a lot too. He only got rid of it because he drives so much he was looking to save some money on gas. Not that the Malibu is a gas guzzler by any means. But our dealership sent out info about current deals and hubs did some math and ended up saving quite a bit on payments by switching. Anyway, he likes the Cruze too but it is more of an economy car. If he got a new car he would get a Malibu.

A friend of mine wanted a new car and like you did a lot of research and she ended up with a Malibu and loves it.

Chevy/GM has been pretty reliable so far for us.

My son has a Chevy Cruze that is awesome. Fits 5 very comfortably. It was his first new car. His is black.

I'll probably test drive the Cruze as well. My cousin has one and really likes it. Personally, I'm leaning towards the Malibu. I've read reviews online that say that the Cruze doesn't accelerate very quickly, which is one of my pet peeves with my current car. It's also an issue when I drive up to Pennsylvania because their expressways have short entrances and exits. I've also been used to having a lot of space with my first two cars, so I might prefer the additional space of the Malibu. But I'm willing to test drive both.

I'll also probably test drive the Camaro, though I probably won't get that one. It doesn't have much of a back seat, and I end up driving my friends a good bit. When I explained that to my dad, he asked why, and I said, "Um, have you ridden with my friends?":hilarious:

Ha! I have not had any issues with acceleration and ramping into a highway in my sons car. No it wasn't my Mustang or my Truck but as far as sedans it keeps up and does well when need be. The room inside the passenger area and individual vents a plus. The sunroof well I don't use his or mine. The trunk is very generous. I'm a fan.

I'm pretty sure that moxo's tablet is stuck with an outdated browser system.

Some tablets just stop receiving updates after a few..
I've had that same issue with an older-ish iPhone that otherwise works perfect. I've had the same issues with older desktop systems. They worked well but hit their obsolescence. Sad but not unusual. My DD had an early on iPad. It hit its obsolescence day too. Frustrating, expensive but whatcha going to do.

The new Ale House was fun. Fun especially since this Ale house had wine.

The Sports TVs were a hoot. When the station had that 2 second pause it was similar to a power outage in the restaurant. The entire restaraunt was wall to wall TVs with Football.

Mouse over or Click on the avatar next to the post to see that info.
Same, I wonder why they removed all that information.

While that might be "cleaner" for mobile work. I find that feature a waste of time. Having to click or over your mouse when theres plenty of space for stats in the left side? bad design bro.
I agree with you. Why have a big empty ugly box underneath the avatars and make me click on something? Seems stupid to me:cautious:
