I felt that way yesterday @Gabe1 . Today was a bit better. Yet tomorrow we are predicted to receive a 6 inch snowfall. My school district already announced that school will be closed on Thursday.

Bluck. We have the cold and an inch of snow this morning but it blew away, where is went?

Our snow is due Sunday and Monday. Our Winter Holiday breaks end this weekend so cold and snow on Monday should make everyone grumpy when school starts up again on Monday. Unless the bus company cancels our districts around here rarely close and more for extreme cold than snow and it has to be a great deal of snow. Our Public Works stinks with average snow. But give them a blizzard and something happens within these men, the adrenaline must kick in. But it has to be alot alot of snow. 2011

Wasn’t that the year Time magazine had a cover saying we were headed to another ice age. We had a subscription at that time, and as a kid that article scared the bejeezus out of me.

I remember that. We went from predicting an ice age to VP Gore telling us our global warming was going to melt us. Wonder what the next decade will bring to scare the bejeezus out of us. I was 4 when a blizzard hit us and when shovelled I was walking through mazes of 4 & 5 feet walls of snow. I still remember it being an eery feeling being so small and walking around and seeing nothing but big white walls. Being that young and still hits that memory box.

Ya know, now that I'm looking at buying a car, I think the most useful thing I learned in college was how to calculate the payments on an annuity thanks to those stupid finance classes.

In other news, this storm has stirred up quite a migraine for me...but I'm still looking at cars because I seem to be nothing if not single minded.

Well if nothing else the car will be a small stepping stone to buying your own home.

Sounds like the lab over-corrected. I hope you see your own doctor. Eyeglasses should never make you feel dizzy or give you headaches--something isn't right here.
The technician claims its very normal to people who never glases before.. and even more accentuated because of my deafness (My eyesight sensitivity is way more pronounced, I see things people usually miss in their peripheral view. As most glasses focus the fix in the center of the glass. And that is what is making me dizzy)..Thats what she says, going to see my doctor in a week or so.

Technically Al Gore is right.
Global Warmings is melting a lot of stuff, changing the patterns of the weather severely.
Places that were usually cold, will get unusually warm, causing havoc. In the same ways middle areas will get extra cold, and hot areas will either get horrible hurricanes or insane fires.

This year remember the entire west coast was on fire, the east under water, and now under snow.

Also global temps are definitively rising.

Well an interesting day. My DD loves escape rooms but they are pricey here $35-40 for an hour so it is infrequent. Her BFF keeps trying to get her to go more often but that one still lives at home so it easier to spend those extra dollars on fun. When my kids were small we did Disco Bowling a few times, I hate, even my DD hated, neither of us do well with LOUD music. And 13 year old...let the fun begin. :banghead: It is said girls are rough at that age, me I found it more to be the boys.
Wow, our escape room was $102, so much more expensive. Worth it as a special treat but not something I would do on a regular basis.
The 13 year old has actually been very good most of the trip, he has a sense of humor and will go along with a joke or being teased a bit. Yesterday at bowling was the first time when I saw him sulking etc. I thought it was kinda funny because the same thing happened last time we took him bowling when he was 5.:joyfull:

We shall see if the storm hits Boston if you don't start thinking about Flower & Garden. :)

Oh, I'll always think about Flower and Garden, no matter what. But for today, bring on the SNOW!! :p

Speaking of the storm, I'm leaving home after 5 AM and getting to work very early. Putting in about 1/2 a day and leaving. My boss loves me--praises me for my dedication. :inlove: (Doesn't realize that I'm enjoying this . .. :hilarious: )

(My only concern for anyone in the path of this could be possible power outages.)

I am an distance walker and also love to ride my bike (and I have a real nice bike) This hiding from the cold is messing with me 'cause I am use to moving.
I've been doing yoga with Tim's new program. It helps a little. Not much but every little bit and all that. You may want to check out some Leslie Sansone or Jessica Smith on youtube they both do "walking" workouts Jessica has a cute dog named peanut in hers
