Not funny at all the storm has shifted west again and we have a winter weather warning of some type for snow plus wind:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy: @MinnieM123 you've had your fun now fix this:brb: School is looking iffy for tomorrow and Thursday:mad::mad::mad::mad: Well I thought I had enough food cooked until Friday night:facepalm:
I just saw that. I will be taking my work laptop home tonight...not that I mind working from home, but still.

@Goofyernmost how's the weather in your neck of the woods. Hope you're staying inside
So far nothing more then cold air. Earlier they were thinking that it was going to hit us, and it may still, but, for the moment they are expecting activity to be to the east of I-95 or about 40 plus miles to our east. I've got no place to be so, whatever.

They have gotten out and "brined" the roads and salted the sidewalks or as our Maintenance Manager said... just doing this to help out you old folks. Nice guy! I may fall and break something just to sue him. Just kidding, he's a good guy and in the 7 years that I have lived here this is the first time they have put down salt ahead of time and not three days after.

Stay indoors Figgy!! You don’t want to get out in it when it gets there! It looks like it will be rough!

DD is in Greensboro. Nothing there yet either. Be careful walking when it starts!

I love the architecture of churches here in Europe. I've never been inside St. Jan. The first time we visited, it was closed, the 2nd time was I think on Easter and there was a service. Then we just never tried again while we were in town. There are some beautiful churches though!!
I hope you will go in the St.Jan on your next visit. It is worth the time to see such an amazing piece of history.

That's part of why I was putting it off. It's always horrible trying to get an appointment. One year, I missed the letter that they sent with DD's appointment and ended up having to reschedule and it took another several weeks because they were so full. They send you a letter and tell you "This is when your appointment is." and if you can't make it at that time, you have to call them and then it takes forever to get in. But apparently they do not have this problem at Specsavers. They take walkins. Easy-peezy!! I hope I get fewer headaches once I get the glasses!
It is so funny that you went to Specsavers as I went two days ago as I noticed that it was becoming harder to read small letters. I also need glasses but just for reading, I bought 2 pair and can pick them up next Saturday.

There was quite a storm today in the Netherlands making it unsafe to drive so we changed our plans and stayed in Breda where my sister lives. We went to an Escape Room with my 13 year old nephew to do one of the scenarios. Boy was that hard! We had 48 minutes to get out and didn't make it. We did have a lot of fun and would like to go back to try another one. After the Escape Room we took the little ones Disco Bowling. Clearly I was being punished for something in a past life because this was torture. Loud music and flashing lights for an hour while the 13 year old sulked because he wasn't winning.:banghead:
I was really happy once we could leave and vowed never to return for Disco Bowling.

Sympathy like. My older ds did that twice for his birthday and my younger ds has gone to a few parties for his buddies. Joy
