Currently watching the combine on NFL network. I think the day is done it's just replays of the day. These guys are tough to go out there and compete I would be too stressed to perform. No, I was wrong, the RB's still have some stuff to do.
I'm being super lazy today, still in my pajamas and going to watch Birdman on Amazon Prime. Apparently it's forecasted that Boyhood and Birdman are the two in contention for Best Picture for tomorrow's Oscars. Did I mention how much of a movie award show girl I am? So I want to see if I think Birdman is good.
I personally loved Nightcrawler and think it should have been nominated for at least best actor for Jake
Gyllenhaal ' s performance.
So there you have it, a random post of lazy musings from your resident Seahawk.

We had about 2 inches from earlier this week, so 8 inches.

When I was little and used to play with the girl who lived next door, I once found Christmas lights on their pine tree. This was July.

Everybody needs a vacation each year! It's an important part of life to take time out to enjoy and relax.

It's a priority to me over the years. My mother drummed that into my head. She always told me that no matter how many bills they had to pay, (she always paid the bills), she would also have a vacation envelope and put away money in that every month. She said it was, in a sense, another "bill" that she'd pay (to herself). That way, the family could always go on vacation, and that didn't always mean any place expensive, or for more than a few days. But God bless my mother; every year we had a vacation.

We haven't had a vacation since our WDW trip in June of '13.
We're, obviously, WAY overdue...

Only problem is that if it went beyond just the CP, I probably would have to stop doing these boards.

I was a Lead Mgr. at our local Disney Store, and didn't stop doin' the boards. Ya' just hafta' use a bit o' discretion, 'cause they do, supposedly, watch. Although, I actually pushed the envelope about TWDC on the boards MANY times when I was still a CM, and never caught any flack. Just lucky, maybe.

Let me take a minute to thank all of you for your defense, especially @JenniferS, who if she doesn't stop that soon will make me reconsider my stand on Canadians. (I doubt it will change anytime soon, but, I might at least become a little more tolerant. ) Anyway, as much as I appreciate it, please don't get yourselves all upset over what people say to me. I consider the source and decide if it is worth responding too or not. Most of the time it isn't. It really doesn't matter to me. I, of course, would like everyone to love me, but, am old enough to know that I am going to rub many the wrong way because of my opinions. I can only hope that my opinions are based on many years of living and my belief in my own personal observations that don't rely on the words of others for validation. One of the other perks of aging.

Jennifer... I hope you feel better, but, I do like you in this feisty mood that illness seems to put you in.

Aaaaahhh, life is good.
Snowing like gangbusters here; I may or may not still be in my jammies; and Grease is on t.v. - the only movie I have seen as many times as Titanic.

"Grease" is definitely in DWifeys top 5. If it's on, we're watchin' it.

Agreed. That being said, I feel more connected to members whose faces I've seen, and who either use, or are willing to reveal their first name. It just makes them seem more "real".

Yea, I don't have a problem with some revealing, either. I completely understand why some do, but, I just don't.

In other news, a little irritated with Lenovo.

A program that they preinstalled on the computer turned out to be malware. It needed to be uninstalled. I suspected something weird was going on with my computer and thought that it was running more slowly than it should be for a two month old computer, but my cleaner didn't pick it up nor did Windows Defender.

And of course, it's one of the programs that I didn't immediately uninstall when I got the computer.

Of course, I'm registered to Lenovo and my laptop is registered and the model was on the list of affected machines. But did I get an email from Lenovo when they found out about it with instructions for removing the malware? Nope. I found out through Facebook.

This is the first machine I've gotten from Lenovo. I like my computer so far, but this makes me question whether I want to get another Lenovo.

not trying to defend lenovo, but in these cases.. its definitively not the issue with lenovo.

There as been some "free" software that did a function amazingly well.. turn into malware because the download company wanted more profit from them.
so they installed a trackers and vicious ad-ware tracker on the bundled package OVERNIGHT.

Other sites even force you to use their malwarefilled download programs to download anything...
very annoying.

in other news.. I'm sort of worse.
went to the doctor again because some very painful sores appeared in my mouth on the last day.. they hurt a lot.
plus the sandpaper painful sore throat...

turns out.. I might have one of these very strong influenza virus.. and a bacteria.
I'm on even more meds now.
I haven't sleep very well in these 2 weeks. I think I've only sleep like 5 hours a day at most...
