To get away from Florida, seek new opportunities, travel, travel, travel, start something new...

I'm going for my dual citizenship and then returning to the USA after the first six months. I'm going to to spend five of the six months learning how to speak Hebrew five days a week/five hours a day. Travel on the weekends.

It's only $49 to fly to Millan from Tel Aviv, so that's how I plan on seeing Europe. I'll definaely go to Rome, Geneva, Paris (read: Disneyland Paris), London, Amsterdam, and maybe Spain.

I'm taking my cat. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a cat sitter when I'm away in Europe.
only 49??
what a steal for such long trip!

The N & R newbie (rhymes with Ping Pong) seems to have a hate-on for my best bud @Goofyernmost, and just made it on to my Ignore-list minutes ago.
Thanks to @Andrew C for telling him off. I had formulated three different responses, but didn't post any of them. Life is too short to argue with 23 year old twits.

I've done many solo trips and always had a blast!! I stay on property, but at the Swan or Dolphin (not Disney owned hotels) due to the more reasonable prices (as long as it's not in high season or a big convention time, etc.). The only thing you can't get with S/D is Magic Express bus from the airport, so I just take a taxi each way. But other than that, I never need, never rent a car, and the boat transportation is right there at S/D to DHS and Epcot. There are buses to all the other parks, etc. People are nice, and I often have discussion with CMs, or other guests waiting in lines. Believe me, you won't be lonely! :)
you could always rent DVC like I did.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is gorgeous!

No fireworks. Just weeks of little, pointless digs.
Respect, dude! You've been here 5 or 6 weeks.
@Goofyernmost, while not always right (especially concerning his jaded view of Canadians :hilarious:) has earned the right to express his opinions, without this little chihuahua yipping at his heels. (Not that I think Goofyernmost even cares - but I do!)

Yes, a member who has been here for 11 years has more of a right to express an opinion without someone who has been here for several weeks. And both display their ages. The 23 year old should be giving respect to someone 43 years his senior. There's no reason for that either; goofyernmost was being polite up until another member decided to take a jab at him. If he wanted to disagree, then argue a reason instead of taking a pot shot.

I just reported him for offensive language.
The Mods wisely cleaned up the last page or two. That was fast!

ETA - Spoke too soon. It was only gone because of the "ignore" feature.

I wanna do a marketing, sales, or management professional internship.

I don't think they'd want someone in that level participating regularly in the boards.

We'll see how it goes, though. Any of that is more than a year off.
even if its more than a year off.. lots of luck!

I would have loved to work as ITmanager/general administration and maybe participate in costumed chars from time to time.

In other news, a little irritated with Lenovo.

A program that they preinstalled on the computer turned out to be malware. It needed to be uninstalled. I suspected something weird was going on with my computer and thought that it was running more slowly than it should be for a two month old computer, but my cleaner didn't pick it up nor did Windows Defender.

And of course, it's one of the programs that I didn't immediately uninstall when I got the computer.

Of course, I'm registered to Lenovo and my laptop is registered and the model was on the list of affected machines. But did I get an email from Lenovo when they found out about it with instructions for removing the malware? Nope. I found out through Facebook.

This is the first machine I've gotten from Lenovo. I like my computer so far, but this makes me question whether I want to get another Lenovo.

I try not to let my toddler watch too much tv but it seems to never work. We were outside for a long time in her little tikes cozy coupe. She started getting upset when I wanted to come in and was about to throw a tantrum. So I asked her if she wants to go in and play. She told me no. And I said what about a snack and she said no. So then I asked her plainly what she wants to do. She looked at me, thought for a moment, and said, "Belle?"

So now we are watching Beauty and the Beast.

Thanks. I want to apply for the CP next year, and my ideal area is the resorts. I want to do front desk, recreation, or merchandising at the resorts, my top two choices being Poly and AKL. And then after I go back to school, I want to apply for a professional internship, my top choice being the marketing internship, which, considering I'm getting a marketing minor, makes sense. I love marketing. Sales I'm a little iffy on. I was doing sales for an insurance company and I hated it, but I think it was probably more that the company was a bad fit for me. So I'm willing to give it another shot.

A girl after my own heart. That is my other favorite princess movie. :)

My first job ever with my company was at the front desk of a hotel.
