nope, the koreans started that fad.
of taking photos of themselves by themselves with themselves.
they are sort of the most EGO related fad of these years.

and speaking of funny stuff.
i am in Mexico city waiting for my connection flight.
and guess what.
they have a TV ad of the local bank doing disney world ads nonstop " win free WDW trip when you move all your purchases to 6 months with no interest" .
and the screen is right next to the gate I am going to depart from.
and I havent seen this ad in the other screens lol.
Seredipitous?

I have some friends who just moved from Brantford to Huntersville, NC.
She just posted a pic of her son doing the "happy dance" for a declared snow day tomorrow.

Her comment was that back in Brantford, 1" of snow isn't even worth clearing your windshield for ... let alone closing schools.
Sometimes in places that don't get a lot of snow public officials jump the gun and other times they just know how bad some people are at driving in snow when they are not used to it.

I like Bedhead products. Bedhead afterparty is what I use after a blowout to keep my hair frizz free. I also use Cibu products. They're made by Bubbles Salon. You can get them online. I have a heat protecting spray that I use before blow drying or using any heat product. I have a cream that I also use on my hair when it's wet.

Generally, you want products that are alcohol and sulfate free. That makes the frizz worse and can be damaging. You want to look for products that contain argon oil for smoothing out your hair. And a heat protectant before you blow dry your hair is important. It protects your hair from damage and prevents it from frizzing.

Also, I don't wash my hair everyday. When I'm on vacation, I only wash it when I've been swimming. At home, once every 3 days is all I need. In between, I either use dry shampoo (I like Herbal Essences best) or I rinse my hair out.

Best thing you can do is talk to a stylist. They can figure out exactly what's best for your hair, how to blow dry it properly, etc.

This is really helpful, and thank you. They sell Bedhead in my local Walgreens and also in a local hair salon. I'm not sure about Cibu, but I can look for that brand as well; at least I have access to one of those good brands.

I saw your Thundersnow on TV! Can Jack now walk right over the fence? When I had our Goldens they'd walk right to the top of the fence and look over at the driveway way down there.

I wear gloves with Walter, normally with glove warmers when it is this bitter. Walter is 100# of happy dog! Walt is incredibly powerful. He walks very nicely by my side, he doesn't pull. Still when something happens I need to have a good grip on him. Can't do that with mittens.

Yah, Jack is one powerful dog, too. He's not a fan of big snow, though. He's confused by it all . . . :hilarious:

I never heard of a selfie stick until I watched Henry Danger on Nickelodeon. A girl on it broke a boy's nose with one. I thought it was just a prop created for the show.

I saw a report on the national news yesterday, that some major museums (The Met in N.Y. and others across the country) are banning those things. They say that people aren't careful when they're using them and the museums want to protect the art, and are also afraid that some patrons might get hit by them, if people aren't paying enough attention.

Boy, don't know what to say about that, you were there so you win that debate! Da Mouse with the picture said the lawn in that section was astroturf. It was on the homepage/news of this sight and Undercover had some photos too. Could this area be more coming off the Tomorowland vs Main St.? Looking at the castle from this angle it seems to be. I'm working off what others had said and photos though, nothing trumps being there like you.

It looks like some of the walls are down with guests in there but clearly see other major walls still up.
