I hope she's feeling better soon, prayers and pixie dust xoxo
She's doing a bit better. The vet thinks she might have had an infection, so she's on an antibiotic. She seems to be doing well on that so far. She lost about a pound, though, and she normally only weighs 10 pounds, so the vet is concerned about that.

The weird stuff I have to do with this cat is insane. I have to, obviously, give her a pill, and for those that have had a cat or a dog and you have to give them a pill, you know it's not fun.

I also have to force her to use the litter box to make sure she doesn't get backed up. And the way that I do that is by locking us both in my bathroom, where she has a box. I give her about ten minutes to decide to use it herself. If she doesn't, I put her in the box and massage near her tail on both her sides. It seems to relax her enough that she'll go.

But she seems to be doing better, so that's good.

Help me along. Doesn't Pom's and Marching Band conflict?
She can do both. It means at halftime, she will do the poms routine, run across the field, where someone is holding her trombone, and march the halftime show in her pom uniform, then run back to join poms for 3rd quarter. Poms stay on sidelines for the football game, so she won't be sitting (well, really standing, the band doesn't sit) with band.

And this is why I liked swimming. They were in the water at 5:45am and out at 8am. Young kids back in water at 5-6pm till age 10 (but wiggle room in attending 2nd practice) Meets on Saturday 8am-1130am Wed 6pm-930
Sundays off.
Swimming here is worse. In the water every day around 6 AM, year round. Not sure how those kids go on vacation. Oh wait, the families that have kids who do this, don't.

Direct TV is not cheap, and it's far from perfect. Basically, I hate all the satellite providers and cable companies.
I started the free trial of Hulu Live yesterday. Problem is while we have an app on our tv for it, you can only access the live tv if you have an xbox, Apple tv(4th gen), iPad, iPhone, or Android phone. We have the iPads and iPhone but the screens are kind of small. Don't really feel like buying an Apple TV because why spend $200x2 (for2 tv's), if I don't know if I will like it or not. Did download the app on my iPhone and it worked perfectly. Kind of annoying in that you have to search for networks to watch live tv as there are no channel numbers. Probably just something to get used to. Otherwise it is like Netflix but with current shows also. I liked that it has shows from my childhood/teenage years like Charles in Chatge. Loved Scott Baio.
Oh, I don't like it either. But Comcast stock holders do! We had no choice of joining their data "test", and I am sure it is going to be a thing very soon. For all of there customers nationwide. http://fortune.com/2016/10/07/comcast-internet-data-caps/
This is NOT good.

Yes it is the same in-laws but a different house. The one with the horrid bed situation is where we go at Christmas. This time we are at hubs sister's house in Michigan. Since the graduation party is today and the actual graduation is tomorrow, and they live 10-11 hours from us there is not the luxury of going home and hubs didn't want to pay for a hotel. Luckily we have a regular bed here and have a bedroom, so there is privacy. Next time we go for Christmas to the one in Chicago we will stay in a hotel, or I'm not going.
Wow. 10-11 hours away by car would have been reason enough for me to say I wouldn't go. You and dh are super tolerant. And toilet duty for guests? Ummm that's cr*p. Pun intended. ;)

If hubs hadn't shown up for this graduation he would have been in deep poo with his sisters. They treat him like dirt but expect him to leap hurdles for them. It is very frustrating but until their kids grow up it is a part of life. Luckily the distance means that we don't have to see them very often.
